“We enjoyed this fantastic location and thought it was excellent value for money. Our only complaint relates to the Coffee machines at breakfast. The coffee was tasteless and needs to be properly percolated with a better quality of ground coffee beans. Table service for coffee would be much better.”

“Lovely country pub and stay nice cooked food and breakfast which is decent size to start your day . Rooms and nice and roomy and comfy got everything you need all clean and tidy . The rooms attached to pub are great if you’re disabled . The staff are lovely a really nice family run place so welcoming in a beautiful little village with gorgeous surroundings peaceful . Loved it will be back again .”

“Nice hotel with friendly staff
Busy pub & restaurant- great breakfast included in the cost of the stay
Beautiful village with lots of history
Lots of dogs staying & visiting with diners
No lift (elevator) but they carried my bags up the stairs for me so that wasn't an issue
They give you a key to the outer door so if you're out late (like I was for a wedding in a nearby location), you just hold a key fob to the door & you have 24 hour access
They kept my bags free of charge so I could stroll...

“Wonderful location, lovely views and everything we needed. Would recommend! A lot of attention to detail has gone into this place and it feels so warm and welcoming. The breakfast was delicious. Our children adored the rabbits, owl, deer and swallows everywhere.”
