“Excellent hotel and very good restaurant. Reception service/lady very strange, ‘’wow you are coming too early (11:00)’’. The lady was aware that our room is not ready even before finding our reservation… 😀 or she is having cristal ball or the instructions are to not allow guest to check in before certain hour. The hotel was empty.
I really do not understand that… in every normal nice hotel are more than happy to make you accomodate in the moment that you arrived.
She called us 40 minutes later...

“Only two member of staff were kind and courteous: Chris at reception and the young woman at the spa. Everyone else was borderline hostile. The rooms are run-down and unsafe, nothing is supplied for using the kitchenette and there is absolutely nothing complimentary, not even a tea bag. The sauna, swimming pool and gym are ok, Breakfast is also not too bad. Hotel etiquette should be enforced, such as not shouting in corridors and not smoking in rooms, which appear to be tolerated. “The room was the worst hotel room I’ve ever seen and certainly nowhere near 4 star. Everything is Broken and filthy with insects and bugs. Food was just as bad no variety at all, pointless going half board as we had to eat out most of the time as it was so bad. The facilities are neglected the customer care non existent and most nights there was screaming and fighting from locals at the front reception leaving clubs and bars . Incredibly unsafe for families and poor value for money. Worst...

“The breakfast offer at this hotel is very limited. There are only five set options available, all of which contain a large amount of bread. For guests who cannot consume gluten, this means that they cannot have a proper, satisfying breakfast. No alternative choices are provided apart from these five predefined breakfast sets. For a hotel with four stars, this is not really appropriate.
