l'albergo si trova a pochi passi dalla fermata della metro, linea verde, anche se la zona di notte è buia e deserta. Non appena arrivati in albergo invece della tripla che avevamo prenotato,c'è stata rifilata una stanza doppia con un piccolissimo divano letto. Per fortuna dopo le nostre lamentele c'è stata data una tripla su due piani, con annessa una scala a chiocciola. La manutenzione dell'albergo e dei servizi delle camere lascia alquanto a desiderare. I materassi sono durissimi, il tetto e le pareti presentano vistosissime tracce di umidità e muffa, dentro la camera passano dei rumorosi scarichi dei bagni dei piani superiori. Sintetizzando posso dire che tra i pro ci sono sicuramente la posizione ben collegata, grazie ai mezzi pubblici,al centro della città, il prezzo molto conveniente e La pulizia delle camere ( lenzuola e tovaglie vengono cambiate ogni giorno, anche se in orari scomodi come le cinque o le sei del pomeriggio ). Sicuramente più numerose sono i contro di quest'albergo, tra i quali la scarsa collaborazione del personale, lo stato e la manutenzione dell'albergo, nonché i rumori e le condizioni di muri e soffitti.

be careful if you are with car - 24 EURO/day parking for hotel customers, 40% room price. BE CAREFUL IF YOU HAVE LAPTOP COMPUTER, because you will pay for Internet access 12 euro/day. In the room a lot humidity, even it looks clean... NOT RECOMMENDED if you wish comfortable stay for long time, for one night is OK !!! I have seen much more better 3 star hotel. this one is AWFUL!! ---P.S. staff very good speaks in english, quite helpful, pleasant, thanks for them.

“Awefull front desk service”

Everytime I asked for something, (like where to rent a car, directions to Illes Medes, the stuff at the front desk always told us to look thru the brochures. When I asked if they can call and help with reservations they suggested I purchare an hour on the hotel internet to do it myself.... When I did it turned out the websites were not loading or were only in spanish. When I asked for help again, I was given an address of the rental place and told I can visit there and make my reservations. (and since that was my first time in Barcelona, I didn't realize that the branch would be closed 1pm-4pm. So, all together I wasted 2 hours on commute both ways, almost 3 hours waiting for the place to reopen, to just find out they didn't have cars available.... When I asked about the commute to the airport I was also told they don't know and that I can ask the turist information locatted in center city..... Fortunately, all other places I stayed at in Spain and has much more helpful stuff at the front desk, including hostels.

The location of the hotel is close to the Metro. The front desk was extremely helpful. The breakfast buffet was okay. My room always smelt musty when I entered it. The price of the room and the room itself are not a good reflection in terms of value. It is kind of chinchy to be charging for wifi at those prices.

This hotel is good, a three-star, with no luxuries. Just what I needed. It is in a traditional (good) neighborhood with a good location. If you take a taxi you can get to paseo de gracia street in ten to fifteen minutes, which is very nice. If you have the time and energy, you can walk there, it is a good 45 min walk. Plus the hotel has a parking lot right next door, which is very hard to find in Barcelona. The breakfast is ok and the service from hotel employees was acceptable (though not great). In summary this hotel is quite adequate for the price they charge.

“Nice place”

Nice hotel, clean and neat. Staff was friendly, and rooms were spacious. Its location is great, a very short walk to the nearest metro station, which is a short distance away from the downtown area. Would definitely recommend.
