“This was a very good place to stay for the value.”

“As expected this lodge is quite old. It is well taken care of with kind staff. The rooms were clean, I felt safe. There was a continental breakfast which had the items I needed. They were pet friendly. I believe most hotels are quite expensive for what they offer and this was no exception. Overall, I have no complaints.”

“Newly renovated, very clean, and super easy check-in. We had a great stay and plan to return in the future. :)”

“I really appreciated the friendly and polite staff to start. We did not know prior that they were renovating so that would of been helpful to know. I feel the room was clean and looked newly renovated, but the whole lobby as well as where the ice machine and back door was, was a construction zone basically, which affected us because I had a dog with us. So I worried about him stepping on something. In addition, because they were renovating, they really didn't have a breakfast which is one reason...

“Family emergency and never checked in. Called to cancel and they said I had ti call Expedia, however wouldn’t answer their call. I booked two nights, I would understand one night charge but they will not refund any of it. Hope life never happens to whomever made that decision. Will never consider this business or any related again.”

“This is a classic old hotel that has such charm, great location and a wonderful staff. Room and beds were very nice. The only complaint (for lack of a better word), is a 2nd floor room is hard on older folks carrying luggage up and down steps . Lesson learned.”

“This was not a great place to stay. Not maintained well. Bathroom floor was dirty. Light bulbs not replaced. Drywall/plaster separating from the bathroom wall. For the price it was not worth it at all. I will not stay there again.”

“The room was dirty and hotel is old.There is not smell good in the hotel and room. We heard every sound in our room from other rooms such as a water running. Location is good.”

“Tried to get refund. When we arrived the front was packed and stacked with garbage bags - the office was a little cubby hole /. The reception couldn’t get on line on the laptop. The scene was unsettling and think the pictures are woefully inaccurate. I’ve been traveling a long time and love small business. Not much complainer but the owner needs to figure thus out. Or maybe sell it. We would like refund. Didn’t stay or check in”
