“It was nice”

“Waffle was great, my husband’s food was cold he had biscuits and gravy, and eggs they were cold . I believe the warmer wasn’t working or on. They were out of coffee cups so you couldn’t get coffee. The rest of the stay was great. Nice clean soft beds as busy as they were our room was very quiet. I’d stay there again sometimes food accidents happen.”

“The property is very run down at the heels. While I felt the room was clean enough the bathroom shower head was broken. We encountered an “incident” where a staff member attempted to gain access to our room while we were sleeping without a prior phone call or knocking. Instead they unlocked our door with a master key and attempted to use a tool to flip the safety latch. While most apologetic about their mistake, the whole incident was unsettling.”

“Hot tub was not working.Pool was not working.No electric kettle in room.Coffee maker in room was not working.Chairs in room dirty.Only one juice was in breakfast and there was water coming in other three outlets.No brown bread was provided.No egg in breakfast.”

“Although renovations seem to be happening, the original iron spring mattress should be a priority for initial upgrades...those metal springs hurt your back...just saying...”

“The staff were great. We had a smooth checking. The Manager also helped us carry our luggage to the 2nd floor as the establishment did not have an elevator. The pool was closed for repairs. Breakfast was decent. Their wifi had some limit to users and I couldn’t get on it The biggest issue we had was the mattress. It was an old lumpy mattress and we had a very bad night. We stayed for only 1 night.”

“Clean rooms and close to the lake”

“I just think in general this place is pricey for what it is. I stayed at AmericInn in grand forks the next night and it was so much better, more updated, cleaner, had a pool and hot tub. This place way just super underwhelming. TV sucks, bathroom had a hole in the ceiling. The floor was FREEZING. It is hardwood which is fine but obviously it isn't insulated so even though you can get the heat running in the room the floor is always very cold.”

“Rooms are a bit outdated but that’s really it. The rooms are big. Staff are really nice, helpful and I would come back.”
