“albergo centrale ottimo per visitare Dublino a piedi”

albergo molto centrale, ottimo per visitare Dublino a piedi. Vicini anche PUB e locali per mangiare a fare shopping. Camere un pò piccole ma bagno ok e tutto pulito. In camera phon, cassaforte e radiosveglia... abbiamo avuto dei problemi alla partenza poichè la ragazza alla reception all'arrivo ci ha registrato male e praticamente al momento di partire ci hanno chiesto di pagare il conto... (già pagato in anticipo tramite expedia). Dopo varie discussioni hanno riconosciuto l'errore

“posizione perfetta!”

hotel in posizione centralissima, a piedi abbiamo raggiunto tutte le maggiori attrazioni, fino alla fabbrica della guinness..non potevamo trovare hotel migliore!!!!

“Days Inn Talbot Street posizione ottima per visitare Dublino”

in questo hotel ci siamo già stati due volte. La posizione è ottima per visitare Dublino. Ci sarebbe da fare un pò di manutenzione ad esempio alle finestre, ed il bagno è piccolo. Comunque il personale è gentile e le camere sono pulite, quindi riteniamo che sia un Hotel buono e da consigliare.

“Great base for central Dublin.”

The Dublin City Inn has everything you need for a central base in Dublin. The rooms are clean, the staff are friendly and very helpful. The breakfast in the morning was good. There is free WIFi throughout the hotel. It is in a very central location near O'Connell Street. Temple Bar is only 10 minute walk away. I found the hotel to be good value for money, and it suited my needs perfectly. Will be back.

“Small but great location”

Located in Talbot Street, just two mintes from the spire in O'Connel Street, the hotel is excellently located. Hotel staff were very helpful. The room was about the smallest I have ever stayed in but as I just used it to sleep in, that was fine for me although others may find the rooms very cramped. Overall very good and would stay there again.

“Very pleased”

Only problem was that we booked it as Days Inn and it is now sugnposted Dublin City Inn so was hard to find.

“Excellent "Inn"”

Very attentive staff and very friendly - will definitely seek out this Hotel for all my trips back to Dublin in the future. Great value, location, staff, etc

“Good location”

The location of this hotel is perfect. Right in the middle of the city. Hotel welcome was good, I was 2 hours early for check-in. They looked after my bag until then. Room could have been a bit cleaner, and it was a VERY SMALL room. But its a budget hotel so that might be expected. The water out of the tap was a milky colour, hard water? So not nice tea! No complimentry items in bathroom!! On the whole I would stay here again because of the location.

Bus from Airport to city is every ten mins and 6EURO.

“Fit the bill totally”

For the bargain price we paid we were really pleased. There was a group of 6 of us staying in 3 rooms, and the hotel worked brilliantly for what we needed. Yes it's a bit on the basic side, but location-wise (we were just about 100m from the spire on O'Connell Street) it was superb. The street it's on isn't the most salubrious, but it was in no way intimidating or uncomfortable. The hotel had a guest lounge which was perfect for us to congregate for a drink (our own) before we head out for the evening. The staff were really helpful, welcoming and accommodating - even in the very early hours of the morning, the night porter was cheerful and friendly. The one disappointment was that two of our three rooms smelled of stale smoke despite our reservation request being for non-smoking (not that it can be guaranteed). One room was at the back of the hotel so although it had no outlook, was quiet and relaxing. The other two rooms were at the front of the hotel and therefore had a fair bit of traffic noise. For us, we didn't spend much time in the hotel as Dublin has far too much to offer in the day and the night for a group on a weekend break! Would happily stay there again for the another weekend break with mates. For a romantic weekend I'd splash out a bit and go somewhere else (previously stayed at the Fitzwilliam on St Stephens Green - superb)!

As everyone would suggest, Temple Bar has the most fantastic atmosphere. Wish we had had more time to spend in the traditional Irish pubs along Temple Bar.
Vita notturna
The Dandelion Club on St Stephens Green was a great place to spend Saturday evening. A great atmosphere. On Friday night we went to Madonna's just off Temple Bar. There was a good deal on cocktails which made for a cheap evening. 80s music, and a good atmosphere when it got busier. But explore the traditional Irish pubs and bars of Temple Bar. The Palace Bar was superb atmosphere.
