“A charming Gastropub hotel on the edge of Epping Forest conveniently located near Chingford overground station with direct links to Liverpool St. The hotel is a tudor style timber and white plaster building with stained glass windows amongst many other old world embellishments. The room was spacious, the bed comfortable and the restaurant a treat with exceedingly helpful and pleasant staff.”

We planned a long anniversary weekend to London and we found this affordable, clean, family-run business just 20 minutes away from the city center by the new Elizabeth line and 10 minutes away from the actual tube station. “Stayed for 2 nights whilst travelling for work. It's fine, the room was clean and decent size and is air-conditioned, but... There's a bit of a lack of attention to detail in the fixtures and fittings... The bed was very squeaky, there was a worrying "soft" square on the floor, the en-suite door opens inwards in to the bathroom making it difficult to close and open the door when your actually in the small bathroom, there was a gap between the blinds and no curtains, so I got woken each morning...
