When we arrived the receptionist basically asked for the payment the moment we stepped in, gave us the key and told us where the room was, and went to the kitchen – no credit card receipt or invoice and no information about breakfast times. “The place is beautiful, but no air conditioning, just a fan in the room. Hotels of this category and price in Europe now have air conditioning. No pool either. People must be attentive to the payment. The receptionist did not ask for the payment when we checked in. “Vi bodde 3 netter på Hof Van Stayen. Her er det gode muligheter for å bade, slappe av og bruke ulike aktiviteter. Vi savnet AC. Merk at det er forskjell på Hof Van Stayen og Hotel Stayen. Godt vedlikeholdt, rent og pent. Veldig store rom! Vi bodde her for å se på F1 på Spa, og det tok litt over en time å kjøre til banen. ”

“Colazione con ampia scelta sia per quanto riguarda la parte salata che dolce e di ottima qualità, la migliore colazione di tutto il nostro viaggio. Anche la brasserie è ottima sia per la merenda che per la cena, anche se la scelta di piatti locali è un po’ limitata. All’arrivo siamo stati accolti da una signora che parlava un buon italiano. La camera è spaziosa e confortevole con due letti veramente separati.”
