“The hotel and room were great. When I found I had been upgraded to a room that I didn't expect, the front desk person assured me that I would only be charged for what I had paid for through Expedia. Regarding the staff and the room, I was very satisfied.
However, I had a late flight in (checked in after midnight) and was expecting a restful night and to sleep in a bit. But about 4-5am-ish, a guest's dog began barking every few minutes until about 8am. I think it was the staff's responsibility to...

“Hampton inn has been my preferred hotel for years. Lately the chain has not been a step above the rest.
Not a huge deal but there was coffee drips on the bathroom sink, clearly wasn’t wiped down.
The bed was made very sloppy. Sheets not tucked in and hanging uneven.
Like I said, not a huge deal but doesn’t make Hampton Inn stand out from other chains.
The big bummer was the air conditioner didn’t work properly. When I got in the room the thermostat was set to 63 but it was 70 in the room. Me...

“We had a one night stay. While the facility was clean and the staff was helpful. Our bed was comfortable but the pillows were unsatisfactory. We both woke up with neck pain.
