Nice hotel centrally located to visit everything,

Good please to visit but were unlucky with cold wet weather so avoid going in winter. Not good of you don't like walking or are wheelchair bound. Very narrow, cobbled street and very hilly around tourist sites. Best to travel by tram not car/ taxi as traffic not good.

Ok hotel but absolutely not five stars! Reception area top class! Rooms average standard, not five stars! Very poor breakfast! WiFi not very good, coming and going! But, after all quite satisfied with my stay!

I pro: Le Hall, le salle de gym avec ces appareils, la vue du petit déj.
I contro: Il faut absolument mettre des doubles vitrage phonique dans toutes les chambres de l'hotel... sinon prévoir les boules quies.
Posizione: A moins de 15 minutes à pieds : Le Palais, Ste Sophie, la grande mosquée bleue, le grand bazar, et le départ de la croisière sur le Bosphore....
Cet hôtel est idéalement situé, pas très loin du palais, de ste Sophie, et de la Mosquée bleue. Si on ajoute le grand bazar, le tout à moins de 15 minutes à pieds... La vue de la salle de petit déjeuner de l'hôtel est simplement sublime. on y voit le tout début du Bosphore, et une multitude de bateaux vont et viennent ans un beau ballet... Je pense renouveler l'expérience. Service de voiture privé d'expédia : A éviter (manque de sérieux). Préférer le service à la place qui se trouve dans le hall d'arrivée.

Excellent location

I pro: The hotel lobby is big and spacious. Location is excellent.
I contro: The rooms need updating to get rid of musty smells.
Posizione: Spice Market, Galata Bridge, Bosphorous Cruise, restaurants
The most this hotel has going for it is its location. Turn left and you're a couple of blocks from a tram station. Turn right and there's the Spice Market, and the Galata Bridge across the busy highway. The rooms are hit or miss. We stayed there at the beginning and at the end of our trip. Some of the rooms are quite small, others huge. We were surprised with our big room, but the bathroom has a slight odor. After we took our showers, the mildew smell got stronger. Our room faced the street, and it was noisy if windows are opened to let in fresh air.

Hotel très agréable situe en plein centre du vieux istanbul. Quartier agréable, prêt des sites touristique et de visites. Accès a pied a de nombreux endroits de visites, notamment la sainte-Sophie, la mosquée bleue et le palais de topkapi Personnel agréable, locaux spacieux! Petit déjeuner en buffet, copieux! Les inconvénients: Jus d'oranges au petut déjeuner payant, et l'espace sauna, mal entretenu!

The location is very good, close to the Egyptian Bazar and the Galata Bridge. The Receptionist and Bellman were friendly and did a good job up on arrival. The room we stayed in was so small that you had to move the bed in order to open the wardrobe door.............5 stars ??? The shower is not very convenient for older persons such as my father. Overall the room was clean but in need of maintenance on walls and windows. The breakfast presentation and service were at best on the level of a 3 star hotel. Food choices, lay out of the buffet, quality of the products and non existent service are really not conform with wanting to be 5 stars at all.

Centrally located but worst hotel experience

I stayed prior to my tour and start and end of my tour for a total of 5 days this Sep. My room was definitely not non-smoking with an ashtray in it, air condition did not work and made a sound every 20 mins, plus I was placed under the restaurant with lots of dragging sounds, so after checking in at 12:30am, no quiet until 4am, then the noise started up for a 7am breakfast. After being reassured my room would change and they would let me know when to move, the door was knocked on at 9am, 9:40am with room service and awake, then a personal visit to check-out and check the mini bar at 10:30am, and a telephone call at 11am to move out. So, no sleep. Then after being assured it would be another hour before I would be moved to another room, when I called back, was being informed I was being moved to another room on the same floor under the restaurant. Horrible! Further, on my last day after the tour ended, a day I could sleep in then check out, I was called at 6:30am, then knocked on the door at 8 and 8:40am reminding me I have to check-out which is noon. Although this hotel is within a 1/2 hr walk of the Blue Mosque, spice market and 40 min from Grand Bazaar, it's not worth the hassles.

The hotel is located next to masri cariçi , and closed to the majoroty of Fatih area points of interset However, this hotel is suppose to be 3-star hotel Very bad smell and dirty hammam Very cold swimming pool Cleaning is not that much
