“Clean room, but the bathroom is tired and needs a full upgrade. The bed and pillows were so uncomfortable that we left with back pain. The sliding screen door doesn’t secure properly.
The restaurant menu is limited and overpriced. The fish was excellent, but the kitchen couldn’t manage to serve the vegetables hot on two attempts.
After 14 years of returning to Opal Cove, it’s disappointing to see that nothing has improved. The entire property is long overdue for a serious refurbishment.”

“There are a lot of little things wrong like washing machine broken, hot water not in all showers but the staff are very helpful and the location to everywhere regardless of how you are travelling is fabulous
If you are a light sleeper bring earplugs
I will file it under my cheap and cheerful category for future reference
FYI, no lift so pack lightly”

“Cozy place for a stop from Sydney to Gold Coast. Kids enjoyed the swimming pool and the trampoline. Nice short walk to the coast. Saw a big camping area on the way to the coast. Shopping and dining options are limited in this quiet area but still feel very good overall.”

“Rooms small. Beds on rollers so they move when nudged. Bathroom tiny with water collecting all over the floor when showering; curtain sticks to u; forced to shut the door by mgt as it sets the smoke alarm and warned at check in of an $1800 fine if the fire brigade comes. Pub next door has a DJ on for 6 hours on Fri/Sat overnight - no sleep. Never again.”

“Start with parking - terrible experience as there was very limited parking as like two spots available if you are lucky as the rest is taken up by residents then you went out to an open unsealed carpark that at night was up a hill and uneven and not lit up at night.
Wi Fi late evening is non existent with continual drop outs very frustrating.
When coming into the place enter at daylight as at night the signage is not lit up and has very poor lighting around this compound as it is both a golf...

“Absolutely wonderful. Being a single female staying in an apartment they specifically made sure I had a secure 1st floor apartment (not ground level) and explained it to me. Staff were delightful. Upgraded me from 1 bedroom to 2 bedroom apartment. Secure parking, trolley for luggage, easy access to lifts. Spacious, clean & modern room. Definitely will stay again & recommend. ”
