I would not recommend this hotel. The description on the website is too exaggerated. The site said the hotel provides shuttle to the disney, however, there was only one bus service at 8 am, and return only at 9.30 pm. The cab service the hotel offered was extremely overpriced, and they all seemed to be hand in glove. The rooms had too many mosquitos, the beds were not made on a few nights when we came in at teh end of the day tired, and we had to call housekeeping for service. Net Net, Extremely unpleasant, I did not expect this service. We were on ground level, and there was construction/renovation going on right outside our room windows (I wish they had pre-warned guests that a part of the hotel is under renovation). I failed to see a smile on the face of lobby receptionists on any of the days we stayed. I would definitely not go back to this hotel and would not recommend.

Thank you for taking the time to communicate to us through Hotels.com why your stay at the Westgate Blue Tree Resort did not meet your expectations. We do offer a complimentary shuttle to the local attractions such as Walt Disney World and Universal Studios; due to offering multiple destinations it is imperative that we adhere to a schedule. Guests wishing to travel to and from the parks on a different schedule are encouraged to use alternate transportation such as a taxi or rent a car. In addition, the resort does not offer a taxi service. If and when guests request a taxi, our staff can call or recommend local companies. Regarding housekeeping, please keep in mind that we are a timeshare, not a hotel, thus the rooms are cleaned once, mid-week, typically Wednesday or Thursday. We were sorry to read that you were not aware of the construction and that it was the cause of inconvenience. If you scheduled your reservation directly through Westgate Resorts your vacation specialist should have advised you of this at the time of booking. The same goes for a third party company as we work to ensure they are also aware of any changes or things such as construction that may be going on so that they may advise those booking. We would also like to apologize if the demeanor of any of our employees was less than courteous and personable. This is not the level of service we expect to be provided to our guests and will be sharing this information with our management team. Although your stay was not 100% perfect, we hope it does not deter you from staying at our other Westgate locations in the future. Kind regards, Anja
