Molto bello, anche se con qualche mancanza

Posso dire che è un buon hotel, esteticamente bello, forse un po' datato sia nella struttura che negli arredamenti, ma le camere sono pulite e ben curate, forse non è ben isolato dai rumori sia quelli interni (tra camera e camera) che da quelli esterni (soprattutto dei rumorosissimi autobus e clacson dei Panamegni), ma è assolutamente passabile. Purtroppo internet non è compresa nel costo della camera, si deve richiedere al momento del check in, se si è li per lavoro direi che è una scomodità, in hotel di questo calibro ritngo dovrebbe essere sottointeso che è incluso e non doverlo prendere come optional. Attenzione ai taxi, prendete solo quelli che stazionano e che vi procurano dall'hotel ma preparatevi a conti salatissimi, costano molto di più che in qualsiasi grande citta del resto del mondo.

It is a nice hotel, but there is not much to do around for tourists visiting Panama.

Good hotel in the right place .

I pro: Staff very friendly .
Posizione: Great location ,close to shops , food ,laundry ,safe to walk around night or day , Balboa Ave on the water a easy 20 minute walk .
I had 2 different rooms over 5 nights ,just due to the way I booked the hotel , the first room for 2 night was comfortable and clean , the second room for 3 nights was great ,super clean ,warm robe and slippers and nice sheets and pillows ,hard to leave the room at times because it was so comfy .

Nice hotel centrally located

I pro: We liked the location, the restaurant and casino
I contro: Front desk staff could be friendlier. Pool area needs more loungers
Posizione: lots of shopping nearby
We booked a king room and they didn't give us that at first, but quickly rectified it once we inquired. Also, we paid to be on the club level to have breakfast included and they tried to charge us for it. Fortunately I had the receipt that said breakfast included as they were not budging! The concierge staff was very friendly and helpful.

It was ok

The hotel is nice and clean but there is 1 problem to much noise, we were staying in the rooms that are in front of the street in the 10th floor and we still hear all the buses and cars like they were next to us....they should add soundproof windows.

Poor service!

Posizione: Very good location handy to restaurants and shopping.
After booking this hotel I called to ask if we could add another person (my daughter) to our reservation and was told that would be no problem and there would be no extra cost. When we checked in we were charged extra for her - and then we found the room had insufficient towels, robes etc. for her. I had also asked during the phone about the cost for the shuttle to the airport but when we checked in we were told a higher price. Then the internet connection did not work and we waited a couple of hours until the technician returned from lunch to fix it (by the way the connection will only allow one device at a time). Not a very good experience!

Good value for the money

I pro: Staff was very pleasant.
The hotel is well located in the financial district - within walking distance to Cinta Costera; a large shopping mall. The casino is quite small but there is a much larger one 2 blocks away. There is a nice little snack buffet every day in the bar between 5-7 pm. To note though is that the pool is small, very few pool chairs and it never gets sun because it is surrounded by tall buildings. Car rental is attached to the hotel and there is a really nice jewelry store attached also, run by a woman whose family history in Panama started when her grandfather came to Panama to work on the Canal construction and who went to Sault Ste Marie MI as an exchange student.

I pro: The staff, especially Samir and Julles, spoke perfect English and were perfect hosts.
Posizione: Good, safe location. A walkable distance to the waterfront. A major 'plus' if the Carnaval is going on.
I would rate the Continental Hotel & Casino as one of the friendliest hotels I have stayed in. Excellent from top to bottom.

Hotel for people who like to be babied

Nice hotel, clean rooms, can get for a very good price last minute, however this hotel is for rich people. You receive a wet towel on arrival to wash your face and hands, the concierge do just about everything for you, I don't think I was able to touch my bags between the taxi and the room. I mean they are nice but I have functioning arms and legs. Also be careful with room service, I asked them in English and Spanish for a vegetarian version of their toasted ham and cheese sandwich, and it still arrived with ham.

Friendly people, a bit old

Posizione: Nice place to go around the city specilaly for business
The rooms are confortable, the hotel is in a nice place and the staff is very friendly. The bathroom and other thing in the room are a bit old but you can't expect anything better for that price
