Good location, Good Staff, but needs a Face-Lift! Staff was very accommodating , and tried to please which was actually very nice. Our room however needed an upgrade, air-conditioner did not work properly and was very loud. Room All and All was clean.

I pro: Sus Instalaciones aunque un poco viejas son muy buenas
I contro: Deben darle clases de atención al cliente a su personal, en especial a las recepcionistas
Posizione: Mi visita fue en plan de Negocios, a si que no pude conocer sus alrededores
Muy Buen Hotel, la mayoria del personal es bueno, amable, atento, lo unico que lo opaca un poco es la actitud de las recepcionistas, son toscas y muy desatentas.

Most unpleasant stay in a hotel ever!

No ice in the machine. Called for ice every night. Took for ever and once it was never delivered. I had to call for towels. Hot water took for ever to run. Sink faucet and shower both messed up. The toilet ball has stains. AC unity EXTREMELY noisy. I had to wait for the valet parking service ALL the time. This was my wife FIRST TIME in Panama and not the last one, but THE LAST AT THIS HOTEL.

very simple and basic - worth the rates paid, but does need some updating.

Great Hotel to stay in.

I contro: the WiFi, it sucked so much at times
Posizione: Los Cedros Lebanese restaurant, VIA Argentina (PanamaMetro Argentina STN) Costa Azul (just down the street) Delicious and Cheap!
Super pleased with the area of the hotel.. it's a bit busy but with PanamaMetro right there, the transportation hub and Albrook Mall is a breeze to get to, as is Old Panama City-- (Cinqo de Mayo STN) The hotel staff are friendly, courteous, and attentive. The ladies at the Wurlitzer lobby bar always remembered my name, and what I drank.The fridges in the room, with the REY (supermarket) 1/2 block away make budget-conscious travelling easy. Only had the breakfast once, wasn't to thrilled (but not to say it was bad) didn't go back to the restaurant. It boils to this, Going back to Panama? (YES) Would I choose this hotel again over others? (YES).

Hotel is in downtown, convenient but noisy

I stayed here for 3 nights. Booked on expedia. When I went there, breakfast buffet was for $17.70 cents per day ($53.10 for 3 days) so I asked to upgrade to where I could get breakfast included. At check out at 5:30 in the morning I was charged $100 extra and was told they automatically upgraded me to a higher floor room so charge was more. Unfortunately the upgraded room was facing the city so I could hear cars all night and at 3:30 am every night some kind of very loud siren went off for 5 minutes. The AC in the room only worked half of the time and I had a hard time communicating that because of language barrier. Also on the first morning, I asked for a wake up call in person when I checked in but never got a call. I explained to the check out person, who seemed confused why I was charged so much more and said she will put a note and when I come back they will give me a discount. I had a flight to catch, so did not have time to argue. Also, would like to mention that I tried to settle the bill the night before but was told they could not do that and I had to wait until the next morning. By the way key is electronic, stopped working 2 times and I had to stand in line and get it re-activated.

Pretty nice hotel. Clean and updated. The ice cold towel on arrival was amazing on such a hot day.

General Review

I pro: Overall comfort and amenities.
I contro: Ensure that the bathrooms in the rooms are paid close attention to on the cleaning.
Posizione: The location is in the middle of town and in walking distance to a few shops and restaurants, however a taxi is required to get to the mall and canal.
Our stay here was great. The hotel is in the center of town, and it was easy to get a taxi to destinations of interest. We ate twice at the hotel's restaurant and the food was great.
