“Cluny Sorbonne Hotel”

L'Hotel è piccolino ma pulito. venivano cambiati tutti i giorni gli asciugamani. Situtato proprio di fronte all'ingresso della Sorbonne...ottima location e pieno di ristoranti e localini nelle immediate vicinanze.

“Nice cheap hotel”

If you are looking for a budget hotel in a nice area then book this hotel. 10 mins walk to Notre Dame and 2 mins from the Pantheon. Right round the corner are 3 restaurants with good food. We ate in all 3, as the street they sit on over looks fountains and is quieter than sitting on the street with cars bussing by. The hotel was very clean. The rooms were small, but as we only slept and showered there is was fine. The shower was good. The hairdryer was not. The staff are multi lingual and helpful. For English speakers the TV shows BBC1 and channel 5, so we could keep up with the news. The hotel also has WiFi, but we didn't use this.

“Perfect location, fine for a night.”

We could not have been happier with the location - it was right in the middle of everything we wanted to see. The man at the front desk was a little rude when he found out we were Americans, but was nicer the next morning and redeemed himself. The rest of the help was great though. The room was small, but clean - just a bit worn out. But it was perfect for our one night there. A bit overpriced for what it was, but the location really made it worth it. I would definitely stay there again and would recommend to anyone as long as they're not expecting perfection.

“Would stay here again in a heartbeat”

Pros: Nothing fancy but it is well located, comfortable beds, clean rooms and desk staffed 24/7 with polite, informed clerks. Nice territorial view of the Sorbomme and the Pantheon from our room. Inexpensive. The pros outweigh the cons Cons: Bathroom tiny and angled ceiling on the top floor a bit cramped but manageable.

“Inexpensive Comfort in Paris”

The room was on the first floor (2nd American), quiet, clean and towels, etc. were changed each day. The staff was also helpful with directions as to the best Metro station/train for a particular site. Upon checkout, the offered to keep our bags if necessary, as our train didn't leave till the evening. Iy chose this option and returned about 5pm to find my bag tagged and well protected. The area around the Sorbonne was busy but not too much so, and the Rue Victor Cousin is quiet except for a few scooters in the A.M. bit with the window closed we were not bothered. It is a bit of a walk to the Cluny Metro stops, but love the area around Blvd. St. Germain and the Latin Quarter, with shops, eateries, etc. and just a short walk to the Jardin du Luxembourg and the Marais.

Great value for money. Excellent location. Very friendly and accomodating staff. The woman at the front desk let us check in early when she saw how jet-lagged my husband and I were. The rooms were small (as to be expected) but super-clean. The surrounding neighborhbood was georgeous, and the location was the perfect jumping off point for our many adventures. Definitely looking forward to our next visit!

“Pretty Good”

Its a decent 2 star hotel. Its clean, the staff is friendly enough, it has a great location, but the rooms are pretty tiny though.

This was a great Paris hotel. Small room, but that is the norm in Paris. Staff were friendly and spoke perfect english. Great for the price. I'll stay again.

“Excellent location, clean, friendly staff”

The hotel location was better than expected. Smack in the middle of the Sorbonne, a few steps away from the Pantheon, very close to the RER/Metro and the heart of the charming Latin Quarter and St Germain. The room and bathroom were not very spacious (not that we expected it), but clean and well maintained. The staff is very helpful and available 24/7. Great place especially for younger people that care about being close to the Seine (Notre Dame was 5 minutes walking distance).
