“WORST HOTEL IN PARIS”

NEVER EVER have I encountered such rudeness and filth all in one place. This hotel was dirty, small and had the rudest "people" working there I have ever encountered. I have traveled to Paris many times and stayed at various hotels. I wouldn't recommond this hotel to a bum on the street. Unreal. I will be sure to spread the word in my circle of people who visit Paris regularly. NO GOOD!!

“Gorgeous! Gorgeous! And convenient.”

We had a deluxe double room (with spa baith) and it was excellent. The view from the window was just a Parisian dream. The location of the hotel was excellent with the metro (Pereier) out the front door and around the corner (45steps). And excellent cafe/bistros nearby. The location was ideal could walk to the Arc de Triomphe in 15 minutes. Staff were lovely and helpful and spoke excellent English. Would definitely stay there again and recommend to others.

The hotel room was large. The bed was comfortable. The fridge was handy. The Metro and train station were next door. Numerous restaurants were within a 2 minute walk. The Monoprix across the street had both food and clothing. We were very happy with our hotel choice.

“Very good reasonably priced Central Paris Hotel”

The Hotel had that feeling of being well run and clean and a very comfortable hotel in a very good location with very good Street cafe/bar /restaurants within yards of hotel. The Nearest Subway station is not Courcelles but Pereitre/Pereitre Devallois on Line C/Line 1.

“A Good, Friendly Hotel”

The journey from CDG Airport to the hotel was 90 minutes with three train changes. So, one should travel light! The room was small, like most Parisian hotels and the shower required manouevering but the room/bathroom were spotlessly clean, the furnishings were new and all required amenities were available, including a reasonably priced priced mini bar. The breakfast buffet did appear a little over-priced . The staff were extremely courteous, friendly, helpful and spoke English. The hotel is located a stones throw distance from a metro station as also an RER Metro station, so travelling was never a problem. Wish they highlighted this in their write-up. The hotel is quite near the Arc De Triomphe and Champs Elysees; the arc being walkable; the champs elysees a little longer on foot , easily accessible by metro and also resonably priced by a cab. The hotel itself has several restaurants near it, including one each on the right & left. A departmental store, the famed Monoprix of Paris is located opposite the hotel. For the return trip, if you dont want to make use of public transport, the hotel also has tie ups for shuttle services which are on a sharing basis. In a nutshell, value for money and a good experince. Recommended.

“Best Three Star in Paris”

Courcelles Etoile HAS to be the best 3 star Hotel in Paris. Excellent location for touring, travel, yet out of the center city enough to get away in the evenings. In immediate area, lots of street cafes. Royal Periere Cafe next door great place for nightcap, coffee, desserts. Impressed with service at Hotel, room was clean, shower and tub were great. Windows open. We were on first floor, lots of noise on the street but room was extremely soundproofed when we closed window.Staff very helpful and nice.Room small of course, like all European Hotels, but ample and bed slept well too.Definitely would stay there again.

“Clean, comfy, cosy "Courcelles".”

The Courcelles is a great hotel just a 5 min walk from The Arc. Hotel staff were nice and resolved any problems we had straight away. The room itself wasn't the biggest but it was cosy and clean and very modern in its decor as is the bathroom. There are enough places to eat close by and we especially found a great crepe place just across the road. You are also on the doorstep of the subway which easily gets you to The Eiffel Tower, Notre Dam, The Airport etc. So apart from the smallish rooms, overall this is a good hotel in a quiet area but has easy access to the major tourist areas.

“Great value for terrific location”

I had a single - very small but clean, colorful, quiet and comfortable. Great shower. Walking distance to L'Arc de Triomphe and Champs de l'Eysee. Several cafes just outside. I walked in the area at night and felt very safe. The front desk staff were very pleasant.

“Lovely place to stay!”

The hotel staff was always very helpfull. It's nicely decorated and would say that kind of romantic. It's a very well maintained and clean hotel. Good located too. Deeply recommended!!!
