“Hotel La Demeure, Parigi - Ottimo albergo, buona posizione”

Ottimo albergo, personale molto gentile e disponibile, ottima la pulizia e camera ben curata anche se non molto grande. Colazione buona ma un po` cara, 10 euro a persona, in altri alberghi francesi abbiamo trovato colazioni milgliori a prezzi inferiori. Buona anche la posizione, in un quartiere elegante e centrale, fermata della metro a pochi passi.

“Would go again”

Very nice hotel - friendly helpful staff, clean rooms and good amenities! I would definitely stay there on my next visit to Paris. The room was quite small though, and I would recommend you to ask for a room away from the main road.

“Great Staff, Clean Rooms”

This hotel was quite nice. Small rooms, but that is to be exptected in Paris. The rooms were quite clean and very quiet (we accidentally slept 12 hours one day!). Most of the front desk staff was very accomodating (particularly Francois!) in helping us with all of our queries and greeted us by name every name they saw us. Quite a good value for what we got!

“Will definitely go back to this hotel”

Hotel la Demeure epitomized all that I expected in a French hotel. Our room was on the top floor and though small fulfilled all our needs. We loved being able to see the Eiffel Tower and the Dome Church from our window. We had our own bathroom and were satsified with all of the amenities. The hotel had a charming Old world ambience, the morning breakfast was delightful and the staff were very helpful and polite. The hotel itself is situated just two blocks from the bus line and the Metro as well as being in the heart of Les Jardins des Plantes with plenty of eating places. We will definitely seek out this hotel on our next visit

“World's smallest room and bath.”

Recent stay here after multiple trips to Europe where hotel rooms are small brought new meaning to the word small hotel room. Storage space for maybe 3 shirts to be hung and no place to unpack suitcase meant that you had to have them available to work from. We were staying 7 nights and asked to upgrade but they were not able to accommodate. Room was clean and maintained but literally too small to live out of.

“Very friendly.”

On arrival reception were very friendly and helpful. Our room and the bathroom were nice and clean. It was good to see that the room met the standards that the photographs led you to expect. The bed was comfortable, though the pillows were rather lumpy. It did get a bit too warm in the night, and turning the thermostat down didn't appear to make any difference. The only major downside to our stay was that we were on the third floor and they were carrying out some building work on the second, which started at about 8-45 each morning. I can appreciate thet this has to be done at some time, but it was during English half-term (as reflected in the price) and we didn't really want to wake up to the sound of power tools! We decided to have breakfast in the hotel on our final morning which wasn't included in the price. On checking out, I asked to pay for the breakfast but was told that this would be free because of the building noise. Since we hadn't complained, I thought thas this was a very nice gesture. It's good to find people who consider service to be more important than profit.

“Very good hotel in a convenient location”

There's nothing to fault here. Service was very friendly and helpful, the rooms are decent sized and very comfortable, and the hotel is located just a few meters away from two metro stations. There's also a big supermarket on the same block and many decent restaurants around. Breakfast was not included on the price, but there's a great boulangerie across the street where you can have a delicious petit dejeuner for about 5 euros. We asked for a room with a nice view and got a top floor room facing the Tour Eiffel, which was very nice.

“good value for the money”

this hotel, which is in the latin quarter (meaning it is relatively close to most MUST SEE touristy places in paris) is conveniently located a stone throw from a bus stop and two blocks from a subway station. the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. the breakfast, which is included in the room rate, is first rate. the room is spotless. this hotel is great value for their asking rate.

“Great staff and a good quality hotel.”

Lovely staff, very friendly and helpful and spoke multiple languages. Room was really decent size (especially for Paris!). Bed was comfy and everything was clean. Room was also quiet and had heating/air con. No tea and coffee making facilities in the room although I think this is normal for Parisian hotels, and there was a coffee machine and honnesty bar in reception. Would definitely recommend this hotel.
