Nice, clean hotel near CDG airport

Data di pubblicazione: 14-set-2014
I pro: Friendly staff, low price.
Posizione: Two (chain) restaurants within walking distance (Hippopotamus and Courtepaille), and shopping/restaurants/cinema a free shuttle bus ride away.
I had an overnight in Paris to make my connecting flight, so I wanted an inexpensive hotel near CDG airport. The Premiere Class Hotel at Paris Nord 2 worked out fine -- low cost, clean room and a comfortable bed, and a shuttle bus from/to the airport (train station) for a 5 euro round-trip fee. The room and bathroom are very small, but perfectly adequate for a short stay. There is a Hippopotamus (chain) restaurant in front of the hotel, and there is a free shuttle bus to the Aeroville shopping center which has a number of restaurants and movie theaters. The staff was friendly and helpful. I sent an e-mail asking for instructions how to find the shuttle bus from the airport, and received a prompt response with the necessary details.

Correct hotel to be close to the airport

Data di pubblicazione: 25-ago-2014
The hotel is located about 20-30 minutes from the CDG airport depending on the traffic. The neighborhood is only composed of other hotels and parkings. Not a great choice if you plan on visiting around or going to Paris on the evening and have no car. Only 2 restaurants at a walking distance - I've been to Hipopotamus, meals between 14 and 20 euros - , and vending machine with 3 euros ham and cheese sandwiches in the hall, no restaurant or bar in the hotel. Rooms are quite small and bathrooms look a lot like the ones in first-class train compartments. Ideal if you're looking for a budget hotel close to the airport and you arrive late or leave early. The shuttle to the airport ( 5 euros ) was reliable.

Access to CDG Airport

Data di pubblicazione: 18-ago-2014
I pro: Hotel, basic but practical. Staff very helpful.
I contro: Did the job needed.
Posizione: No need to leave the complex - bed, breakfast, dinner.....
The reason for staying at this hotel was that I was meeting a friend from CDG airport early in the morning.

Not very friendly as it was myself and my daughter wee did feel a bit vulnerable it got to the stage where I didn't want to ask anything when I did I was told he was too busy as he was with a client. I arrived at the airport where I was told there was a shuttle bus no idea where it was phoned hotel and directions where not clear in the end I had to get a taxi all in all ok if you can drive and don't require any help room was satisfactory and clean enough but I wouldn't go back

Hotel ok for one night but there was a "funny smell" in the bathroom and the shuttle to and from CDG airport is only every 25 minutes or so (and not free) and takes for ever. Allow at least one hour to get to the airport.

I'm glad I only stayed one night

Data di pubblicazione: 21-lug-2014
I contro: Please make sure the electronics work, the light bulbs all work, and the room has an air freshener
The room was clean but it smelled like an outhouse, the internet didn't work and neither did the TV. The card said call the desk if you have a problem but there was no phone in the room. The clerk was very nice though.

Loved this clean, cheap little hobbit hole

Data di pubblicazione: 15-lug-2014
I pro: clean bright internet several onsite vending machines for food and espresso
I contro: They charged a 'transportation fee' for what I suspect is a free service. I recommend future customers refuse to pay it. Busses do not check tickets.
Posizione: Several restaurants. I think there's a cool shopping center if you get there before everything closes.
The rooms are tiny, even for European standards. It's amazing that they can fit a toilet, sink and shower into the space that they did. The bed doesn't leave much room for walking around. But it is near the airport (though I personally didn't notice jet noise). It is clean, bright. Internet works well. And it's super cheap. It was a flashback to my spartan college days.

Tiny but clean

Data di pubblicazione: 13-lug-2014
The hotel was nicer than expected when we arrived - even a bit modern. The room was super tiny but clean and comfortable bed and bedding. No perks - including no bar soap, blow dryer, etc. Staff was helpful but not all english speaking. Overall we'd stay again. Breakfast and parking were not included.
