posizione ottima, camera eccellente con un pizzico di atmosfera "parigina" , personale discreto e disponibile .... da provare .....

“Hotel Royal, vicino place dell'Etoile”

Prenotata camera standard, purtroppo la camera era una camera per le bambole, piccolissima e con un letto da una piazza e mezza per due persone. Chiesto di cambiare pagando la differenza ma rifiutato dall'hotel (ovviamente non c'era posto). Chiesto di ricevere una e mail ma per ben 2 gg risposto che internet non funziona (bugia, io credo! meglio dire che non prestano questo servizio). Chiesto un taxi e aspettato piu' di 20 minuti! Ovviamente i canali televisivi italiani non erano ricevuti Albergo decisamente da sconsigliare, almeno se uno ha la sfortuna di cadere nella trappola di una cosidetta camera standard. Ho soggiornato a Parigi in decine di alberghi 4 stelle con camere e livelli di servizio di gran lunga superiori. Peccato!

“Nice hotel, good location, does the job well”

We really enjoyed our stay at the Royal. We had a superior room which was very nice, and bigger than many we've stayed in on the continent. Bathroom was fairly small and shower not the most powerful, but it did the job. We didn't fancy the breakfast (seemed a bit expensive for what it was, and no fresh croissant/bread which is what we want when in France!), and lack of Dining facilities other than a pretty expensive room service meant you had to go out, but that was always the plan anyway and we didn't expect anything else. The one genuine, although small, criticism we had was that the small Hotel bar closed at 10pm - it would have been nice to come back and have a night cap. Overall though we'd absolutely recommend the Royal - good location, well maintained (the bits we saw anyway), and overall pretty pleasant.

“It was ok, considering very central location and the price”

Location of the hotel was great, but the room was a bit dissapointing. It was a bit claustrophobic, at the end of an extremely narrow corridor and with a view to the building walls. The room was clean in general but bathroom was full of black hairs which was a bit off putting. The bar needs to be developed; it is just a room with no barman and usually empty - not a place to stop for a drink. Apart from that, staff were very helpful and location was great - one minute away from Arc du Triomphe and metro station. Unfortunately, would not recommend it as a place for a romantic weekend in Paris.

“Really Good.”

This hotel is 5 minutes walk from the Arc de Triomphe and the Champs Elysees. The staff were great. The room was modern, clean and quiet. Yip, our room was small bit small. That's was you get in the best part of one of the finest cities in Europe. Great value for money, given the location.

“Wonderful hotel - Saved my trip”

The Royal Hotel is an amazing four star hotel located one block from Arc de Triomphe. Wonderful hotel, great staff, great room. Even though the hotel is on a bust boulevard, the windows have great sound proofing. The only issue is the WiFi signal is horrible - and they know it. It keeps cutting in and out, or you have to stand in a peculiar location in the room to have signal. Internet it FREE though. If you bring a laptop, wired connection is available and works very well. I had initially booked a hotel close to the Louvre, spent two nights there and had to get out (it was like a back alley wh0re house from a movie). Expedia staff did little to help me unfortunately. Found the Royal Hotel myself and booked it for the rest of my trip. This hotel is one bock from Champs-Elysees, the Arc de Triomphe metro stop is very close and very easy to get to the hotel by taking the RER from the airport.

“Loved the Royal Hotel!”

Just got home yesterday from a fab stay at the Royal Hotel. Location is great - steps away from the Arc de Triomph and the Champs Elysees, and very close to a metro station. Hotel was gorgeous - very 'French' with great features and unique decor, and huge, comfortable beds. Thought that the room was a good size for a city centre hotel. Staff were really friendly, and the room price was good for such a central location. The only downside was that there were very few patisseries/boulangeries/inexpensive bars in the area, and we were on a budget!

“Amazing staff! Amazing stay :)”

I have been to Paris 5 times before - each booked through Expedia. I usually like staying in Champs-Elysees area, as it is close to the main metro stations/nice shops - so if you are looking to be in a great location, Hotel Royal is your pick! FREE wi-fi in all of the rooms - and very efficient too! Staff were EXTREMELY friendly and helpful with directions/booking airport taxis for the morning/ information. Check-in was at 3, however since I arrived from the airport at 12 pm, they were generous to clean and arrange a room for me ASAP. The hotel itself is quite fancy and very classy. I had the single room (I was only in Paris a few days visiting my friend), which was verrrry small - but the decore and cleanliness of the room made up for the small size (I am unsure of the sizes of the other rooms). Overall, I would definitely recommend this hotel to other people and book this hotel during my next stay in Paris!! Enjoy :) !!
