“Room was clean and comfortable. Air conditioning unit was quiet and effective. Bed pillows are very thin and uncomfortable. Shower water pressure was painfully low.”

“We were only here for one night while we were driving to California, but I wish we could have stayed here for a week. A terrific room in a very hospitable hotel with a great restaurant and lots of nice amenities—and a gorgeous view from our room. If you're lucky enough to go to Vail, this is an excellent choice for a place to stay.”

“Nice room. Hot tub was nice. Amenities were expensive and were not included in the price, despite most options were not even open/available during our stay. Rental people upstairs were very helpful. ”

“The property was gorgeous. Front desk was friendly but needs to spend a little more time explaining the amenities offered like what floor the pool is on and restaurants that are available. They spent more time wondering about my little Maltipoo, if I reported that I needed a dog friendly room in advance. So if you plan on bringing a pooch be sure to let them know in advance. Other than that it is definitely a princess environment with a classy old world feel. I’m glad my husband picked it...

“The property was fantastic. We were all pleasantly surprised by the rooms and balconies. I had seen several mixed reviews before booking, but honestly we really enjoyed the spacious layout and overall atmosphere. It is an old hotel. But hotel more than makes up for it with its rich history, charm, and outstanding central location. We will definitely be back.”

“Air conditioning in the room didn't work. Engineering couldn't fix it so they just brought a couple of fans which didn't really help much. Room was never cleaned.”

“The facility has no air conditioning and our room faced west. The afternoon sun was brutal. Our room was over 90 degrees and never cooled down even with the window (only one window so no cross ventilation) open and fan on high. One electric receptacle was missing a cover and VERY loose. We don’t recommend going to this facility any time from mid May through September.”
