"I’d like to leave a review of Suarga Resort in Bali. Overall, it was a positive experience, but there are definitely areas that could be improved — and this message is meant in that spirit.
The resort has many great qualities, but certain aspects felt uncomfortable and not quite up to the standard one might expect from a place of this category. One of the main issues was the excessive number of paid extras — even for small things like certain breakfast items. It would be much more guest-friendly to include these, as the current approach creates unnecessary discomfort.
Another concern was the swimming pool. The water seemed to have been treated with an excessive amount of bleach instead of chlorine, which caused all our swimsuits to turn yellow. Our children, who spent hours in the pool, often came out with red eyes. A better balance in pool maintenance would really help.
Lighting around the paths to the rooms and inside the bathrooms is quite limited. Every step should be well-lit to prevent accidents, especially at night. Additionally, the rooms could use more hooks and hangers — small details that make a big difference in comfort and practicality.
Service overall was good, though at times a bit slow. Special mention goes to Maria and Yumi at the front desk — both incredibly kind and helpful. The massage at the spa was excellent as well.
