“Its was clean for the most part. However I checked in Friday out Monday….. still waiting for towels. 2 towels for 4 people. Called and went 4 times to ask. None were ever provided. I had to hunt someone down. My kids used wet cold towels as we needed to leave to visit my nephew in hospital awaiting a heart transplant. And staff had attitude about it!!”

“I killed 2 roaches and a spider. We had to beg for towels, the only way you could get more towels was to turn the other ones in. The building smelled old and stale. Other than that it was in a convenient location to get to the Medical Center.”

Cons: I expect a room with a full kitchen to have at least minimal cookware. This room had nothing: no pot, no plate, no bowl, no glass, no silverware. First time I’ve ever experienced this in a room with a kitchen. It was my first time to stay in this brand of hotel. Pool was padlocked. Could hear everything in room above me. “This property was disappointing and not at all as advertised. Dirty floors, stained pillows, blocked bath drain, leaky pipe in kitchen, and very greasy hob rings causing smoke when cooking were a problem for us. Complicated checking in process was frustrating. Property certainly not of a high standard and not value for the money paid. Constantly had sllep disrupted by noisy people in room above.It is in a good location for the Medical Center and Hermann Park.”

“The property was fine with its clean rooms and retro design. However, the air conditioning was not functioning properly in the halls and libby areas. It was sweltering with 90 degree days outside. Also on one of the nights we stayed, the fire alarm went off at 10:45 pm. All of the patrons had to wake up, go outside and, unfortunately, no explanation was provided.”
