“TIPICO HOTEL DI VENEZIA”

Se fosse in condizioni migliori meriterebbe le tre stelle , purtroppo è un po' scarso in manutenzione. Però è in una posizione ottima, il personale è davvero bravo e cordiale, e altri hotel di Venezia,più costosi dimostrano gli stessi identici difetti.

“Great location”

Hotel located directly across the train station right on Grand Canal, and only couple hundred yards from the Piazza Roma bus station easily reached from airport for only 5 euros! Staff very friendly and helpful. Good breakfast. Clean comfortable rooms but very small bathroom/shower, typical of small European hotals with bath added off one corner of room. Good value and fairly rated at 3 star! Negative is no internet in room, only a very old PC in the small lobby with internet for a fairly steep fee (like 2 euros for 30 minutes!)

“Camp Venice”

This hotel is very basic and simple. We stayed in a room for 4 people and it reminded me of when I used to go to camp as a child. There are cots stuck in every corner of the tiny small room. It was very cramped and the beds were uncomfortable but the location was great and the experience was fun. We had wine in the evening in their garden for E2.00 per bottle and their breakfast is OK. The little restaurant outside on the canal is fantastic and very close to the hotel after a long day inside of Venice.

“cardiodude”

I believe you pronounce roach motel in Italian, Hotel Canal, It wasn't really dirty, the baths were actually very clean, but it is very old and well past the need for updating. Staff was nice enough but no one would mistake their attitude as attentive. It's a cheap hotel in Venice and you get what you pay for. It's nice that it is near the train station but I would keep searching as there are many other choices.

“Locale is the only thing”

Very small rooms. Uncomfortable beds. No hot water. Only reason to stay is the location. Close to Piazzale Roma. For that early morning flight.

“Always my first choice”

I first stayed here as a gift from a friend. I travel once or twice a year to Venice and while I have stayed at two other hotels on different occasions, this is my first choice. I like everything about this hotel, the rooms, the price,breakfast, the people and the location. It's a place I look forward to being at for all the reasons mentioned.

“Not Impressed”

The hotel definitely needs an elevator
