Situato in zona molto tranquilla, camera ampia e silenziosa, personale gentile e professionale. Ottima colazione in bella sala. Piacevole e accurato il tè pomeridiano servito nel salotto rosso. Ambiente confortevole e romantico.

comodissimo , posizione strategica . Personale disponibilissimo per ogni esigenza . il palazzo storico è molto bello , sopprattutto la sala per la colazione e la sala rossa dove nel pomeriggio offrono agli ospiti un te (tea)

Hotel bellissimo, personale super, colazione fantastica. Un grazie in particolare a Nicole che ci ha accolto alla reception per averci fornito informazioni utili su Venezia, ci ha fatto scoprire la vera Venezia e non solo i siti turistici. Davvero un fantastico week-end

“Semplicemente eccezionale!”

Meraviglioso! Struttura nuovissima, aperta da un mese! Suite grandissima, con vista sul canale. Facilmente raggiungibile con il vaporetto linea 1. Ed in posizione centrale tra Rialto e S. Marco. Personale gentilissimo. Pienamente soddisfatti.

“Fantastic location in 1300 year old building”

We stayed here for 2 nights in July 2011. It was a bit hard to find even after tips from friends who had stayed there a little earlier, but once we did we were very happy with what we found and the location itself. There are some good dining choices nearby and pleasant walks to San Marco and Rialto. The grand canal San Angelo ferry stop is only 5 mins walk away. The only "issue" we had was that we were given a room at the top of the hotel which had a raked ceiling which meant we couldn't stand in the shower. But having said that it was very quaint for just a couple of nights and I'd stay there again. I recommend asking the chef for pancakes at breakfast.

“Ideal location”

Although the hotel is close to both the Accademia and Rialto bridges, and on a big square (Campo San Angelo), it's not on the main route from Rialto to San Marco - so a great combination of convenient yet quiet. Also only a couple of minutes from San Angelo vaporetto stop (also served by the Alilaguna airport boats). Set in an old Palazzo, our room was very comfortable, furnished in traditional old Venetian style, with a lovely modern bathroom. Only slight snag was a fault with the aircon, but we kept the temperature comfortable with 'manual control' i.e. opening the window! Breakfast was a cut above average, with decent coffee (not always the case in 4* Venice), and served in a beautiful room, which presumably was the 'Piano Nobile' of the Palazzo. A lovely terrace and courtyard off Reception (a bit too cold to use in November unfortunately), and free internet (cabled) in the room finished the package. Would happily stay here again.

“Stay somewhere else!!!!!!!”

If you look at the website, there is a misleading picture of St. Marks Square, making it look like that is where you are staying. This is not so. It is a ten min walk to the Sq. Also, the SUPERIOR room we stayed in was as small as an inside cabin on a cruise. I'll put it this way, I'm 5''2 and if I put my hand straight above my head, I could touch the ceiling. The room was also dirty, there were wrappers from candy bars left where the mini bar is. The air conditioner was not attached properly and made a loud noice ALL night, when I tried to fix it, dust went flying everywhere. The fruit salad they serve at breakfast comes out of a can and the rest of the food is bad.. (very hard bread, undercooked eggs). One morning, my husband and I went to eat at 8 and no one was there to get us coffee. At 8:20 we finished but still did not have coffee so I went to the front desk to ask where the waiter was and sure enough, he was downstairs hanging out at the front desk talking to the person there! Do yourself a favor and don't even think about staying here.

Very nice small hotel with lovely comfortable bed and character hotel. lovely breakfast room and ideally suited to walk to all the regular sites in venice
