“hotel San Zulian Venezia”

Albergo molto gradevole situato in pieno centro a pochi metri da Piazza San Marco. Non è grande ma molto comodo e pulito. Organizzano anche visite turistiche a volte gratis. Lo consigliano

“SO CONVENIENT”

We stayed here with our son for 3 nights. Hotel is somewhat small but normal for European hotels. Breakfast included in the cost of the room was wonderful. Location is so convenient for all the main sites and also easy to get to by water shuttle, taxi, etc. We would highly recomend this hotel. First time in Venice.

“Great location, not much else”

The location near San Marco is great. The rooms were not that comfortable. The hotel staff was very unfriendly, seemed put out if we asked a question. Breakfast was included, but out of the six hotels we stayed the breakfast ranked at the bottom. Would stay elsewhere if I return to Venice.

“Worth the money.”

Good location. Good service. Modest breakfast was included and the room was more than adequate. Typical European bathroom with a small shower- if you're wider than normal, you might not fit. Quiet except the stairwell near our room woke us once or twice late with suitcases being dragged up and down.

“Great location - all you need when visiting Venice”

For a clean, friendly hotel in a great location, San Zulian is the place. Room was small, but all you need when touring a city such as Venice. A comfortable bed and bathroom to return to after touring all day. Who needs a balcony when there are so many cafes to enjoy!

“About the Same as most in the area”

This hotel was a clean, basic hotel with the most uncomfortable beds we had ever slept in. It had a nice continental breakfast that was included in the price, which helped a lot since every restaurant in Venice was quite pricey. I would reccommend this hotel, but the hotel staff were a little unfriendly and not too helpful.

“Nice hotel in a great location”

The hotel is great and I would definitely stay there again. The only problem was the time of year, mid-November. It was high tide in Venice! I have been to Venice before, in the summer, and it was lovely. I never imagined that it would be 6 inches underwater at high tide! Fortunately, it only lasted the first day there. The locals all wore rubber galoshes to walk around, and they had elevated platforms to walk on. Very inconvenient, but just a temporary situation during the winter months at each high tide. The hotel staff is very professional, very helpful and it was clean and cozy. It is in the main tourist area, San Marco section.

We booked two triple rooms to accomodate our family and found everything to be first-class. The staff spoke excellent English and were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is in an excellent location, easy to find, (sometimes a problem in Venice) and has modern, spacious rooms and baths.While it may seem somewhat pricey for family travelers, Iwould definately say the services and convenience is worth the price.
