"So nice you might not see the rest of Croatia!"
We had a wonderfully relaxing week here over Easter. The hotel was so nice we only left it three times: once to nip to a supermarket, once for a walk along the coast to Petrčane, and once to go home! The highlight was definitely the food. We were half-board, so had all you could eat (and all you could wish for) buffet breakfasts with exquisite 4 or 5 course meals in the evening (1st course usually a similarly replete buffet of bread, salads, sea food, etc). Drinks (even water) with the evening meal had an extra charge. The restaurant had a good view of the sunset. Our room had a great view of the mountains to the northeast, plenty of storage room, a delightful bath & shower, plenty of sockets, and a "pillow menu"! The double bed was 2 (comfortable) singles pushed together and the TV was built into a wooden casing so we couldn't get to the HDMI/USB ports to connect anything to it. We enjoyed the gym with its views out to sea. The "white spa" area, where we spent a lot of time, was open, warm and relaxing with great views (sea, mountains, sunset) and 2 heated pools (both with an indoor and an outdoor section). The "black spa," containing the sauna and hammam, was a nudist area so, being British, we completely avoided that. The showers were extremely luxurious—we miss them. The grounds were lovely and went to the coast which is made up of quite thin, beautiful, white pebble beaches along the clean, clear, turquoise Adriatic Sea. We'd definitely go back if we could afford it!
