Fantastic, fun hotel
Many bars, restaurants and swimming pool. Every floor designed by a different architect, and extremely good service. Location perfect for Metro transport, and close to airport. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Very impressed
The staff were very accommodating and friendly. We had a problem with the lock on our door initially, which was fixed within 10 minutes, but when it broke again we were offered an alternative room, which we took. The hotel had more of a business feel about it rather than leisure, but very professional with excellent service. Drinks in the bar were very expensive, but the views from the rooftop bar were spectacular. The leisure facilities were OK, but the ’heated’ pool was very cold. Likewise, sometimes the steam room was cold. The hotel was 5 minutes from the local metro station with easy access to anywhere in Madrid.

Enjoyable stay, rcommended if you don’t care much for WiFi
Hotel Puerta America is an excellent place to stay in Madrid, with original design and a lot of character. It’s not near any sights, but easy to reach by public transport. The showers and the washbasin wree right in the room, and although estetically please, are poorly designed-- water splashing everwhere. A free WiFi was the only thing missing.
