“Stony Creek is a charming small lodge located in the beautiful Sequoia National Forest. It is an older facility but is well maintained and clean. The staff was excellent and attentive to our needs. Though there is a short drive to the main sights in Sequoia National Park, it is away from the crowds and is more affordable than other options in the area. Free breakfast included! We enjoyed our stay there very much!”

“Il lodge si trova all'interno del parco, verso l'estremità nordest, per raggiungerlo si percorre una strada bellissima e panoramica e all'arrivo ci si trova immersi nella foresta, vicino al fiume. La struttura e' semplice, ma perfettamente adeguata all'ambiente e dotata di tutti i confort. Le camere sono spaziose, pulite e ben tenute e il servizio di ristorazione, pur strutturato esteticamente tipo fast food, con ordinazioni al banco, offre cibo genuino e di buona qualità. “Clean and spacious! Self check in with the keypad code was very convenient. We liked the layout with the breakfast nook and kitchenette - would have been perfect if there had also been a cook top! Fireplace was a nice touch. Otherwise, it was very convenient and close to downtown Seward and Exit Glacier. We would definitely stay here again”

“L’esperienza più bella della vacanza ! Le camere sono arredate in stile, i letti sono molto comodi e i bagni sono pulitissimi e di recente ristrutturazione. La proprietaria è davvero gentile, simpaticissima e un’ottima cuoca. La colazione è davvero ottima, preparata in casa con macedonia con squisita frutta di stagione, frittata con verdure fresche e pane e marmellata. La cosa più difficile sarà andare via senza un cucciolo di pastore australiano (che allevano nel loro ranch). Consigliatissimo!”

“Bellissima esperienza a contatto con la natura. Strutture immerse nel verde del parco, isolate dal resto del mondo. Partenza alla grande con colazione da campioni al bar/ristorante, Lunghe passeggiate nel bosco, bagno nel fiume e barbecue in relax la sera.”

“Excellent location for visiting Sequoia and Kings Canyon NP. The host was attentive, the room was perfect with a fridge, microwave, coffee maker, and place settings for 2. I just hope the toilet paper was chosen for the septic system and not because they wanted that brand. I am glad I arrived in the daylight, the short dirt road in would be tricky in the dark the first time. Dining recommendations were spot on - good food, very friendly service, and close by. I wouldn't hesitate to book here...

“This was a little slice of magic as our base for visiting Sequoia. A heads up that being less than 10 miles from the park actually means that it'll take you an hour of switchback driving to get to the General Sherman tree, but the drive up (and back) is spectacular as you get up into the mountains. The house is well put together, and there were nice touches like having dishwasher tablets ready to go, and plenty of coffee pods. Laurabelle was great to communicate with, and you're less than a 5...

“Perfect place to stay if you’re visiting Sequioa National Park. It’s clean, recently remodeled with all new windows and bath shower. Well stocked for barbecuing or just eating in. Five minutes from grocery and fast food options. Farmhouse theme is perfectly set. Streaming services struggled to flow with the WiFi though. AIl in all though, it was a great place to stay ”

“This property is a lovely rustic place with hiking trails and a beautiful creek! It is very close to Kings Canyon and the cabin is charming with an updated modern kitchen. We enjoyed our stay!”

“This cabin is so close to being amazing. It's a great location for getting into Sequoia National Park and is secluded enough that you can set up some chairs and enjoy some quiet stargazing. The cabin itself was clean and had everything we needed. The only problem was the bathroom was falling apart to the point that we avoided using it altogether. If the bathroom door hinges were fixed and the walls made more permanent this would be a perfect place to stay”
