“Stony Creek is a charming small lodge located in the beautiful Sequoia National Forest. It is an older facility but is well maintained and clean. The staff was excellent and attentive to our needs. Though there is a short drive to the main sights in Sequoia National Park, it is away from the crowds and is more affordable than other options in the area. Free breakfast included! We enjoyed our stay there very much!”

“Il lodge si trova all'interno del parco, verso l'estremità nordest, per raggiungerlo si percorre una strada bellissima e panoramica e all'arrivo ci si trova immersi nella foresta, vicino al fiume. La struttura e' semplice, ma perfettamente adeguata all'ambiente e dotata di tutti i confort. Le camere sono spaziose, pulite e ben tenute e il servizio di ristorazione, pur strutturato esteticamente tipo fast food, con ordinazioni al banco, offre cibo genuino e di buona qualità. “This was a little slice of magic as our base for visiting Sequoia. A heads up that being less than 10 miles from the park actually means that it'll take you an hour of switchback driving to get to the General Sherman tree, but the drive up (and back) is spectacular as you get up into the mountains. The house is well put together, and there were nice touches like having dishwasher tablets ready to go, and plenty of coffee pods. “This cabin is so close to being amazing. It's a great location for getting into Sequoia National Park and is secluded enough that you can set up some chairs and enjoy some quiet stargazing. The cabin itself was clean and had everything we needed. The only problem was the bathroom was falling apart to the point that we avoided using it altogether. If the bathroom door hinges were fixed and the walls made more permanent this would be a perfect place to stay”
