“Lovely and cozy place, good for any type of visitor. Location is ok but not great; if you want to walk to old Ipoh distance is short but the walk is not pretty, for the first half. Anyway, I enjoyed my stay at this hotel a lot in spite of its few flaws. Then again, price was pretty good, so few small flaws can be accepted.”

“Hotel is conveniently located. Many eateries nearby and next to it is a big supermarket. Room is clean but minimalist... no mini fridge and tv channels very limited. The water heater was not working but we didn't bother as we're only staying for 1 night. Overall, for the price of below Rm200, the room is ok”

“First room we were given the beds were unmade and there was still trash in the garbage bin. The bathroom had cockroaches in it and it wasn't given a clean vibe at all. We were then given a different room. However this room was having mold on the walls, as well as a smell of mold. We then left the hotel cancelling our stay, and the manager said if wishing for a refund go through Expedia through which I did, however management decided not to refund the situation and time we had wasted, and instead...

“ I checked out from another hotel to go to D Kelly, and was so glad I did. The ambiance was very welcoming, modern, hi-tech, and easily found. The parking was so convenient and classy. For a hotel that gives the vibe of a 5-star, the check-in process was unmatched, slow and inefficient front desk people. The breakfast buffet was not impressive, but if you convert to US dollar, it's so cheap, so no loss there.”
