“We weren’t exactly sure what to expect, but our stay was definitely one of the highlights of our trip to Peru. All of the staff was amazing; restaurant staff, particularly Leslie and Renzo, were very friendly and attentive, our guide Yuri was very knowledgeable, fun and accommodating. The excursions included with your stay are well organized and very worthwhile. We would definitely recommend IKAM and hope to return. ”

“You have to travel by boat to the lodge which is fun itself. The bungalow was exceptionally clean and the whole lodge area well kept. They are offering several activities in the lodge. We did really liked the lake tour which felt like going back to the Tertiary. The staff in hotel is very helpful with everything. Just be prepared for lots of mosquitoes in the whole porto Maldonado… I have came with my mosquito repellent but I have seen such things are available to buy in the lodge in case”

“The immersion experience was great. Be prepared though to feel hot and full of bug spray much of the time. Wear hiking pants. Not Lulu leggings (too hot). The guides are great and you can do as much or as little as you want. We saw a lot of animals. ”

“Our experience was amazing! This was an experience that I have always dreamed about. The guides for the excursions were the best. They were so knowledgeable and friendly. I will never forget all the beautiful sounds that you wake up to in the rainforest. The lodge was very eco friendly and the rooms were very clean. The rooms only have three walls so it is normal to find an insect here and there. I will definitely be returning. ”

“The boat journey is exciting and comfortable despite being 8 hrs up river and 5 back. If lucky u meet the researchers and hear about their ingenious projects focused on the flora and fauna and the staff are attentive and wonderful as is the food. We were up at 4.30 most mornings which is no sweat as u go to bed about 9 pm. The clay licks are disappointing this time of year as the Macaws come rarely and the smaller birds fear the hawks without the macaws on the lick...but the birds accumulate...

“My wife and I had an amazing time. We really loved it! Sandra and her team did everything they could to make our stay comfortable. We were fed well and the food was amazing! They really care about the rainforest and work with a local wildlife rescue that rescues animal and rehabilitates them to go back into the wild. When you stay here, you help them with their mission to protect the Amazon rainforest. Alejandro was an amazing guide and has a great eye for spotting wildlife. Definitely...

“Wow, the experience at Chomi House was amazing! We were the only guests on the property, and the individualized attention was incredible. The host made great breakfasts and dinners, arranged any private tour we wanted, showed us sloths and monkeys and cacao trees on or around the property. And our private pool was lovely! It’s hard to get in here but you should try! ”

“A comfortable and modern hotel. Whilst the staff spoke limited english they were lovely. The plaza was in walking distance but there was also lots of dining options nearby. The breakfast was fantastic and a nice inclusion. ”

“Semplicemente fantastico! Solo raggiungere l‘ Hotel in barca e‘ stata una splendida sorpresa, l‘ Hotel immerso nel verde della foresta lascia d‘ incanto. La struttura è nuovissima , credo abbiano aperto da poco, ha camere arredate con gusto e originalita‘ offrendo comfort , soprattutto nei materassi di alta gamma e pulizia. il complesso offre anche un ristorante di cucina peruana di altissimo livello! Un Grazie allo staff che mi ha guidato nella scelta dei piatti garantendomi un pranzo...
