“Clean”

“This motel 6 is exactly what you pay for. It’s definitely for saving a buck—thin bed sheets and messy landowner special in the rooms being paint and stain jobs, etc. that being said, it had good space and decent location for a 1/4th of the price of hotels in downtown Chicago. We came for a wedding. The property is gated in which gives a safer feel especially in leaving your cars and they don’t enter the rooms during your stay unless requested so you’ll have privacy.”

“The rooms were clean. Everything worked just like it was supposed to. No complaints whatsoever.”

“The breakfast was the best I’ve had in a while. They already had ready-made pancakes and hashbrowns. You never see that …. This young lady asked me if I needed some juice and offered to get it for me. That’s next level service. I’ll stay there every time I go to Chicago.”

“This hotel is close to the Obama Presidential Museum, and not far from the Downtown area. The rooms are clean and modern.”

“The rooms can be a lot cleaner. And halls smell like weed and smoke very horrible stay! And checking out no one was there”

“I have nothing good to say about this property it was not at all like the reviews their was hair in the tub hair on the sheets the lamps shades had tears in them the furniture had damage the bed was a queen not a king the curtains were nasty breakfast was awful spoiled milk when it rains the areas around you floods and places have no water or power the toliet was loose as well although maintenance did get thsr fixed but stole a bottle of my husbands cologne”

“Very comfortable beds. Breakfast was exceptional. Staff courteous and helpful. Hotel was convenient for all of our planned activities.”

“Apparently buried somewhere on this hotel's listing on Expedia it says everyone is expected to put down a returnable $100.00 cash deposit upon check in which will be returned in the checking out process. I did not see this advertised on Expedia or their site but found it after the fact when I had to do a deep dive into the fine print terms and conditions. Something like this needs to be advertised openly and highlighted. Many people don't have cash like that on hand and can't afford to put down...

“No fridge and microwave but if you’re looking for a nice clean room and good area to stay and on reasonable price i would recommend.”

“Clean and safe experience”

“There was one working elevator in the hotel. The only working elevator stopped working on Sunday morning and my 83 yr old mother who uses a wheelchair had to walk down four flights of stairs. The building smelled like mildew, especially the gym. Not worth $300. Expected better and hope for some type of price adjustment for my two rooms.”

“I rarely leave negative reviews, but this hotel was so disgusting that I feel obligated to warn other travelers. From the moment we walked through the front doors, I was horrified. The carpet in the lobby and hallways was absolutely filthy. I have never seen hotel carpet in such poor condition. It looked like it hadn't been cleaned in years and made an awful first impression.
