“My Wife and I loved the history and feel of this place. The Clean and comfortable room and friendly staff made us feel welcome. The small town vibe of Abbeville is one of our favorites in South Carolina. Walk out the door and begin a historic walk featuring over 25 properties in the immediate vicinity dating back pre-Civil War. Don't miss this town and no better place to spend the night than The Belmont!”

“The manager on duty was very nice and accomodating. The room was sufficient. I was able to bring my boat and felt safe that it would not be bothered at night. ”

“Breakfast was disjointed. Items were not placed in reasonable locations. Unsure of pet friendly as no pets with us Room reasonably clean, large gaps around room in the frame Toilet was not always functioning well. Clerk not attempting to reach manager or maintaince. I was tempted to report to health dept.”

“Second time here. Convenient locale for a local bicycle race. Don't need anything fancy, just clean and cheap.”

“Facility is brand new. Our room’s furniture was comfortable. Its cooling/heating system kept our room at the desired temperature. The breakfast had a good variety and would be considered above the industry standard, in my opinion.”

“The room, lobby, gym and common areas were very clean. I found the bed and pillows to be very comfortable. The downsides were the bar and breakfast. The bar wasn't very comfortable and the wine was terrible. We had to pay extra for the breakfast and on all 3 mornings of our stay, they ran out of eggs. Very little to choose from for a surcharge. ”

“I was saddened by this stay. 1st i believe the girl who checked me in was trying to get my credit card information because she tried to say it was showing the cc i used online didn't work😕. Girl try again because that was definitely a lie. 2nd while getting ready to leave someone from front desk almost came in on me as I was getting dressed. My fiancé had to stop them from entering and it was all because of someone claiming they left something in our room. I was not happy and probably won't be...

“They just have a basic breakfast with muffins and fruit.”
