Room was filthy, food on floor, something smeared all over we refrigerator, drips of food on chair, room smelled, bathroom mirror had same white smear the refrigerator had. We were moved to a different room. This had no shower curtain, mold all along grout line, soap scum Ring in bathtub, barely a trickle of water from shower head and water spout. The pillows felt like shredded balled up tufts of material and the bed...

“I loved everything about the property. Everything was well-maintained, clean both in the lobby and the rooms, the beds were very comfortable, the breakfast was good, and the staff was very friendly. Next time I return, I will stay at the same Element Iowa hotel. 100% recommended.”

“This hotel is right across from Kinnick Stadium and a three minute drive to University of Iowa hospitals and clinics very conveniently located well priced very clean and nice, knowledgeable and friendly staff would definitely stay again! My husband and I stayed because I had a surgery and they had an available wheelchair for afterwards so I could get back up to our room. Staff was very accommodating.”

“What we did not like room 1016 and room 1017 there was either an air compressor running or something that was making noise 24 hours a day just don’t get the room 1016 or 1017 you will not sleep!!!”

“This townhome was absolutely perfect for UofI graduation in May! The location was 2 blocks from commencement making it ideal for every type of event associated with the university. The accommodations included every detail possible - tastefully decorated, a roomy main level kitchen/living area for entertaining (including serving pieces of perfection!). The rooftop included a grill and fire table to allow us to enjoy the outdoors and an awesome view of the area. Thank you for making graduation...

“Perfect place to stay for our son’s graduation from the University of Iowa! Fun campus vibe, helpful staff, extremely convenient location for downtown Iowa City with walking distance to many spots. Coffee shop and bar/restaurant adjacent to property and we had coupons included for $15 per person per day that we could use there, which was great! Thanks for the memories! Go, Hawks!”
