The cottage is on a working farm, and has been nicely restored, though it's clearly an old building, and I must have banged my head *every* time I went to load the fire in the kitchen! It's a place with real character - the farm has cows, goats, chickens, and fish, and would be great for anyone with kids. The wifi was...

“Food was cooked to order and every meal was so good. There was plenty of choice and there was no problem when I asked for salad instead of chips. The plates were full of good tasty food. The bed was so comfortable that we slept through the nights.”

The property is in the process of being updated but this didn't affect our stay except perhaps to see how well it appears to be going and I'm sure when this is finished they will have a hotel to be proud of.
