“Room was amazing. There was a kitchenette, a real closet with a safe and the sofa was an extremely comfy sectional. We were expecting the same old traditional motel room set up and instead we got a huge upgrade for the same price. They not only accept pets but expected us to have one with us like that's just what everyone does.”

“We walked in and was greeted by roaches, the sheets dirty, and the bathtub was horrible.”

“Beautiful historic hotel. Just stayed one night but would stay again. Unique property with old timey touches, like stationary in the room. Staff was very helpful. Brought our luggage up to the room for us and helped load the car when we were ready to leave.”

“What a special place! If you are into unique, historical and elegant, this is your place. The bed was comfortable and shower nice and hot. The gardens were beautiful. The only let down was we thought there would be a made-to-order breakfast but the cereal, muffins, coffee and juice were fine. There was only one other couple staying so it was quiet and peaceful.”

“I loved everything about the property with one exception. While fairly was minor overall it did cause me personally a problem sleeping. I really wanted to rate my stay at 5 stars but the light coming in from the cottage entrance next door did not allow me a good night's sleep. For most guests this would probably not matter but any light causes me to not sleep well. I would recommend blackout curtains or a screen on the side of the door light that could block the light from entering into the...

“The hotel is currently under renovation which we were unaware of when booking. The whole first floor is under construction and empty. The rooms were good. Breakfast was only continental and was only a very small table right outside the elevators which made for a tight space if more than 2 people were there to get food.”

“the valet was good, but expensive. my room was very clean, but the tv’s signal kept going out. they still use cable, so with the fact that the connection kept being lost we couldn’t even use the tv. the beds were comfortable though”

“The hotel was safe and secure. There is a $15 fee for parking, FYI. Everything was very clean. Beds were comfy. Breakfast was lacking. Food fresh out of the kitchen was cold. Breakfast staff was fantastic though. Very kind.”

“Variety at breakfast. Super fresh! Everything works; water station, workout room, laundry, pool, fireplace and pit. Rooms are fresh and clean. This was a great stay. BTW, the manager was super nice and took care of us. The furniture in common areas is getting worn. That's the only thing I saw that needs repair.”
