“nice place to stay , i was staying ofr work and sadly breakfast wasnt offered before 8.30 am, which meant i missed breakfast, parking can also be challenging”

“This was the perfect weekend getaway. The location was perfect and easy to get too, close to all near by attractions. The owners where friendly. The rooms where ideal and felt you could properly relax. Was not over booked or crowded. This was just perfect.”

“Had a three night stay. Quirky Harry Potter themed room. The staff were very friendly and efficient. Had to report to the manager that the shower wasn’t working and he immediately went up to the room and simply turned it on. How embarrassing …. and me an engineer too. Ate in the hotel first night. Food was very good and comparatively inexpensive. Nicely cooked breakfasts as well. Good choice of beer. First time in Alnwick. Would go again. Plenty of places to eat and drink. Loved Harry’s bar...

“Alnwick is navigable on foot, and The White Swan was centrally located. Breakfast was cheerfully presented and the staff went out of their way to help me make a connection at the Almouth rail station two miles away.”

“The room and bed was very comfortable. The shower was a real treat. High end accommodation with great service and food. Quiet and peaceful. ”

“A very comfortable and well furnished cottage. We were able to cook good meals on an excellent gas range although there are a few bits and pieces of cutlery/crockery that would have made it even better. This was the fifth time we have stayed in this cottage; it is a great place to stay if you want to see many places in the area. We even visited Newcastle (easy if you use 'park and metro') and as far as Kelso in Scotland to see Floors Castle.”

“Fantastic house but you would think it would have a secure garden for the toddlers and dogs. Photos show gardens but you cant see that they are all open plan.”
