“Right inside Cotopaxi National Park…. The heat in your room is wood burning stove. They will get the fire going for you. I think the electricity goes off at 10:00 pm. Volcano warning siren just outside compound. The restaurant is awesome. They have coca tea to help with altitude.”

“Nice old house with lots of character. In room 104 the bathroom door is short, and as a tall person, I hit my head a few times. The staff is very helpful. The night guy and cleaning lady don't speak English so it's a good opportunity to practice your Spanish. The room was comfortable with plenty of space for two people and our luggage. The best part of staying at Ecuatreasures is getting to know Hernan and Blanca. They are wonderful hosts. Hernan arranged airport transport for us, greeted upon check-in, and confirmed our comfort. The traditional Ecuadorian breakfast were FANTASTIC!...

“We were in town for the holidays and visiting family nearby. We really enjoyed our stay here. The staff was always friendly and addressed any concerns we had immediately. The room was spacious and beds comfy. I slept well. I regret that we didn't get to try any of the spa services. The breakfast was DELICIOUS and above and beyond what I expected: croissant, eggs, fresh fruit, with juice and coffee.”

“All the staff were exceptional. Breakfast was limited but okay. I requested a room with a view, but didn’t realize it was 6 floors up—with no elevator!
