“Not worth the price. The place is old and everything within it is old, and desperately needs maintenance. Breakfast was okay. Parking was easy and plenty. Helpful and friendly staff.”

“It was clean but very run down. We couldn’t check in until 4, and the rooms were so old. I wish they advertised better. I may have still stayed because of location to the beach but for the price it was so not worth it.”

“Had a wonderful stay at Mendocino Cove! They were pet friendly and had a dog bed, bowls, treats and even towels for our little pup. Amazing grounds and property is well kept. Location perfect with a labyrinth and easy trek to the beach. Room was perfect for our daughter's birthday getaway. Had a bit of wifi issue upon check-in, but it was resolved the next day and didn't miss it all too much. It was relaxing and they really try to focus on wellness. “Cabin was very clean and spacious. Bed was comfortable. It rained and they normally lock the pool and hot tub when it rains, but they were super accomadating and unlocked the hot tub for us.”

“I don't understand how this place has so many 5 star ratings. While the outdoor amenities are nice, and the location is good, our room itself was honestly disgusting. The sheets were dirty, there was mold building behind the sink, the bathtub had rust stains, toilet seat was stained, and there was paint chipping everywhere. Whole family was ready to get out first thing on our checkout day.”

“Parking was fine. The staff was incredibly helpful because the first room we got had a strong smoke smell. They immediately offered us a new room without any hesitation.”
