“Situated directly on Lake Como, Casa Vittoria is a beautiful, very clean and well maintained 19th century villa with a beautiful garden, lake access and plenty of space inside for us to enjoy. We found the library off the main floor is a good place to gather for a glass of wine. The dining room is great for breakfast and dinner. “We spent a few days in Barni. Elisabetta welcomed us on the first day and showed us around. During our stay she maked sure, we feel safe and asked if everything is fine. The house was clean and spacious, also the garden, which has a pool, a nice BBQ area and lot of toys for the children. The kitchen was well equipped. There was also enough parking space for 3 cars. We enjoyed our stay very much. Elisabeta is a very nice and kind host.”

The location of the pool area offers one of the most beautiful views in the world, it is unique. The villa is perfectly furnished and equipped and is really huge. “Ho soggiornato solo sei ore su sette giorni prenotati perché ho avuto un problema grave di salute e non mi è stato rimborsato un centesimo su un importo enorme versato. La comunicazione con il proprietario scarsa, le luci dell atrio e del boschetto bruciate quindi risultava inagibile di sera e non in sicurezza. La tv solo in tedesco. Il cinema non ho potuto usufruirlo perché alle mie richieste mi hanno risposto dopo giorni. Pulizia della casa non perfetta. Posizione e panorama stupenda....

“Nice villa as advertised. A little difficult to find as we arrived at night. Parking is not at the property, but available down the street. Be prepared to carry items a short distance. Air conditioners worked well. Quiet, safe neighborhood. Nice gazebo outside on property.”

“Lovely accommodation designed for comfort. Fabulous views, nice privacy, plenty of room, and very comfortable. Only issue was locating the property, be sure to follow the photo directions closely and be prepared to look back over your shoulder to see the last couple of landmarks. Make sure to note that you must have a car to get to this property, it is quite a ways up the hill from the water in a car is essential to get to and from town.”

“L'appartamento mansardato al secondo piano della bella villa da noi affittato è comodo e carino. L'unico neo del posto, che ovviamente non toglie fascino all'appartamento, sono tutti gli scalini che vanno dalla strada al secondo piano della villa. Comunque esperienza positiva.”

“Charming house with lovely view. Positives were the open plan central floor where we could all meet, and the view from the top floor bedroom. Negatives were the regular power cuts, the smaller bedrooms are hot without AC, and the walk to Menaggio is 30 minutes and of questionable safety in sections. Overall we had a delightful stay, a great time was had by all and George was really helpful !”
