“We were a group of four friends visiting Crete and we had a fantastic time at Villa Alexis Zorba. The location was perfect, a short walk up the hill to the village of Plaka with a good choice of tavernas and supermarkets. A 10 min walk in the opposite direction gets you to the beach, with many more places to eat and drink, with a couple of good bakeries. The villa has awesome water and mountain views and is located near a quiet village (which has a 12th century church per my husband). We enjoyed the fig tree in the backyard, the neighborhood cat, being able to drive up the mountain a little way to see the goats (and hear their bells), and the pool.
