“Room wasn't great for the cost (was pretty small, but is limited because of the type of building), however the bathroom looked like it had recently been refurbished, and the room was clean. Breakfast was excellent, and the staff were very helpful.”

“The reason I haven’t scored 5 is that Expedia sold us a room that had issues with noise / cooking smells as it’s above the kitchen and is noisey and smelly when the staff are cooking. We stayed in a room named Helvellyn and Expedia didn’t state any issues with any rooms. If we had booked direct with the queens head it details the room helvellyn as having issues with noise etc due to it’s proximity to the kitchen. I think Expedia have been misleading not detailing the facts about that particular...
