“Needs a few updates but nice property. Food is very mediocre but breakfast is decent. It’s a bit of a haul to get to and from town. The beaches are not as well maintained as and the no-see-ums are thicker. The rooms are very spacious with plenty of storage. Overall, it’s good experience.”

“No point to stay here. Lots of seaweeds, it's impossible to swim and snorkeling isn't great either. On top of that the food options are limited and disgusting and the owner is as nice as a kick in the arse. Do yourself a favor: spend a bit more and get a room in West Bay.”

“Attentive staff. Amazing beach view and sunset view. Hotel food was very good. Noise level was fine at night. Hotel had snorkel gear to use. Snorkel to reefs was very easy even for average swimmers with abundant fish and corals to entertain. So many diving companies all around the hotel. Great selection of restaurants walking distance. Boat taxis can drop off and pick up in front as well. Land taxi in front round about. I would stay here again.”

“What a wonderful place! As close to paradise as you can get! Casual and comfortable, with no pretension. The tidal pool was perfect for swimming and snorkeling. The food was incredible! The owners, staff and the locals who frequent the place were so warm and welcoming, you come in as strangers and leave as family! Can’t wait to return! ”

The rooms were clean, the bed was very comfortable, and the pool area was well maintained. The beach is small, but the snorkeling right off the beach was surprisingly great and one of our favorite things about the resort. “I stayed here for one night as a solo female traveller before taking the ferry the next day over to Utila Island for two weeks. The place was beautiful with an amazing view right on the beach, the staff was friendly and helped me arrange my ferry transportation, and the breakfast was yummy! You won’t be disappointed, especially if you are looking for a place that’s close to the airport or the ferry terminal.”
