“Nice comfortable stay. We had to park a short walk away due to the weekly market. There are no staff onsite after 20.00 which can be a negative as we had to find somewhere to eat. Plenty of quirky individual eateries nearby. Bed amazingly comfortable great nights sleep. ”

“The suites were both extremely spacious, but the air con in one is very loud and there is no air con in the other. Some areas of the hotel look a little tired. With that said though, it is a wonderful venue and the staff were extremely helpful. The food is good, the golf course looks great, and the surroundings are very pleasant too. A great place to stop overnight or for a golf trip I imagine.”

“Lovely warm welcome. Room warm and cosy (211) with a slightly challenging lock. Very tasty roast dinner and breakfast the next morning. The little town was quiet but lots of pubs and little shops, plus riverside walks too. Would recommend.”

“According to my son and his mate who had travelled from Oxfordshire for a football match the accommodation was everything that was described. The host was super friendly and even took the boys into Grimsby the next morning after my son had lost his car keys at the match 😩 ”

“I’ve stayed her over 4 years ago on a regularly. I’m glad to say the fantastic food and service hasn’t changed. Unfortunately there is no car park at rear of hotel now seating area. ”

“It was a nice and very easy trip. The hotel was lovely. The staff were great. The bar was great. They recommended a nice café around the corner of breakfast. Great time all round.”

“The hotel is I think one of if not, the oldest in Grimsby but comfortable, clean room. Good freshly cooked breakfast with lighter options. Warm friendly staff and always friendly and helpful. I only stayed one night but would stay again. Close to the station. 15 minutes.”

“We had a ground floor room which was close to kitchen and breakfast room which was noisy for the golfers who had requested earlier breakfast times. Staff convivial and friendly. Breakfast good and plenty of it - Lincolnshire sausage excellent. Beware carparking access a little tricky to negotiate. Easy access to local shops and golf course! ”
