“Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour à la Quinta da Portinha. Le lieu est idéal pour des vacances calmes et reposantes. Le cadre est magnifique, avec une vue splendide sur le Douro, entouré de nature et de tranquillité. La piscine et les extérieurs constituent un véritable havre de paix. Nous avons également beaucoup apprécié l’accueil chaleureux et la disponibilité des hôtes. Une adresse que nous recommandons sans hésiter à ceux qui recherchent sérénité et détente.”

“ Our week at Casa do Monte far exceeded our expectations and will be a beautiful memory for our entire family. The ladies that took care of the breakfast and cleaning were wonderful and communication with Marcus was very easy. The breakfasts were delicious. The swimming pool and the outdoor area around it were perfect and we had a weeklong family party. Ricardo and Paula are a couple that operate a restaurant in Teixeira, a short drive from Casa do Monte. They provided a delicious dinner...

“Before we even arrived, we were impressed with the experience. Our bus was going to arrive prior to check in time and when I reached out to Amadeu to ask for luggage storage recommendations, he told us we could store at the house, which was so kind. Then he met us at the bus station to help us transport our bags and some of our party up to the house! He also had provided croissants, donuts, meats, cheeses, yogurts, etc. to help with breakfasts! All more than necessary but made us feel so...

“My wife and I celebrated our 25 year wedding anniversary at the Quinta. It's location made it convenient to visit local museums, wineries and Churches. The location also allowed us to explore many nearby small towns for amazing meals and to meet lovely people. Porto is only ~1.4hrs by tollway, which is 90% of the travel. We highly recommend taking the train, just across the Douro in Régua, out to Pocinho for a relaxing lunch and walk around the quaint town before returning. The railway view...
