“The hotel was clean, the room well equipped and the staff were all very friendly and efficient. The only criticism we had was the food in the restaurant, whilst very nice, was not the fine dining experience we were hoping for. The menu, which includes burgers and fish & chips, didn’t reflect the surroundings of the dining room.”

“Although the room was relatively clean, I did not feel safe not having a locking out door especially after recent incidents at Travelodge The hot water was lukewarm and hardly running out of the main sink tap Mattress was lumpy not that comfortable mould in shower on ceiling. Staff are very friendly unfortunately this is a very tired accommodation walls incredibly thin. For a pub with rooms, it’s on the expensive side”

“The property really needs some maintenance to it. Very dated all round. Champneys used to hold a high standard name as a spa hotel but over the years it’s really lost its touch. Was disappointed with the cleanliness of the spa facilities. Was in the spa for 2ish hours and not a single member of staff cleaning anything. Mainly the floors which were full of grit/hair/dirt. Edging of pool areas have algae. Really just needs a deep clean. We didn’t stay for dinner however we had breakfast...

“The breakfast wasnt great but the staff were friendly. The air conditioning was working but i felt the room was a bit cold for my liking but the staff did turn on the heating but if just wasn't hot enough for me. However both the room & its surroundings were beautiful! ”

“This hotel has almost everything to be the best option close to the airport. It is in a strategic position, the room and bathroom appeared to be clean; the breakfast was nice to have (both for the variety and the space). BUT the condition of the bed sheets and towels was so disappointing! The bed sheets had stains everywhere, and there was long hair in three of the four towels. They looked like they hadn't been washed properly. I couldn't sleep. Finally, the staff was kind but the information...
