I had no WiFi the whole time!

I was completely unaware, and very much forewarned by friends, about these Microtels. The set up seems to resemble a hostel without the option of shared rooms with strangers. I'll start from the beginning: The parking was shaky. I arrived after 6pm and the only available spaces are off to the side, but the surrounding area did not give me a warm fuzzy to leave my truck there. I looked around a couple of times and then headed to check-in. The weight and placement of the doors gave me a little annoyance with trying to get large bags through. Check-in was awesome. The receptionist was very kind and professional, so I waved the parking lot and door experience. The elevator smelled like weed. My room smelled more like weed so I assume that whomever was in this room before me were the culprits that had the whole 3rd floor emanating the stench. The room was small. No problem. There was no tv remote control in the room. The smoke alarm was removed from the ceiling. There was no door handle on the back of the bathroom door, so it was a challenge to get out of the bathroom after my first shower. The bed sheets were not exactly white and the shower wailed when on hot. Beyond that, much of the other guests were young men and women that were all about partying and they were kind of bumby. On the second night there was an all nighter, loud music and guests in and out of the hallways yelling for one another. My third worst hotel experience. And I couldn't connect to the WiFi!!! Never again.
