“Arrived Friday afternoon to find the outdoor pool water was cloudy and green. Was told by front office staff member Scott it was my choice to swim in it or not. My 6 year old granddaughter was very unhappy with this result. The road construction in front of the hotel with orange cones. Made it difficult to enter and exit, not the fault of the hotel. No white milk on Saturday morning, so no cereal and Sunday no sugar for coffee.”

“I stayed here in 2024, I was so happy and pleased with my stay. This time in 2026, was VERY disappointed, and do not plan on coming back. Closed the pool at 8pm!!!! Why??? Laundry closed at 8pm, also!!!! Why??? Location is fantastic, beautiful beach view, walking distance to the pier.”

“Cute remodeled hotel with great parking right next to the Boardwalk. Nice cold A/C, comfortable bed. Very clean room and bathroom. Small but cozy for a couple. We made a quick three day trip for July 4th weekend. Convenient to the beach, restaurants, shops and day trip to Wilmington. We will stay here again!”

“Great place all around will be back soon we stayed on the older side of the property and was still very nice and clean could use little more work but definitely a nice spot on the beach! All the staff were very friendly and helpful. They could really work on the elevator it was super slow and almost the hottest thing at the entire beach it felt like I was going to pass out in there it was so hot”

“An honest take on our week at the Marriott courtyard Carolina Beach. We checked in and had to sit and wait for somebody to come mop the floor because the room was still dirty barely got into the room a little after 4pm. One of the two elevators was broke down the entire week creating long lines and long wait times and frustrated guests, including us. Our room being on the 5th floor we hiked the stairs more than once. When we left, the elevator was still out of order . Never saw a housekeeper the...
