My dad had carved out a plot for her to live on out of property he owned there (and later sold to the current owners I think). ”

There is a 2nd cabin right next door and then multiple camp sites to pitch tents so not as secluded as we thought but not many people were there and those that were, were quiet. It can sleep 8 but only 1 bathroom, which was a little challenging for even the 4 of us. Also, we missed not having a full length mirror. But overall VERY clean and had all the amenities you need and 30 minutes to 1 hour away from...

“Loved staying here SO much! Everything was extremely well kept. It was so peaceful. Host was accommodating - letting us change our stay to a day later when our travel plans changed. Only thing worth noting is the 15min drive up the mountain on gravel through very rural area! Made us wonder if we were in the right place haha - but that rural setting is what makes it so lovely and peaceful. We definitely want to come back!”

“We had a great stay at the dome! The ambiance is perfect for a WV weekend getaway. We enjoyed a delicious steak dinner via the grill out on the deck and even hopped in the hot tub even though it was under 40 outside! Our 9 year old loved having her own space in the loft above the bathroom and kitchen, and we were impressed how efficient we were able to prepare our meals with the well thought out minimalist kitchen. All of the Nespresso equipment came in handy too for a few morning lattes before...

“This place was perfectly suited for my family (ages 29 to 88)! The wraparound porch and views were our favorite part, but we also enjoyed the fire pit, the game room, and the big open feel of the living/dining room with lots of natural light. We were able to make our entire Thanksgiving meal in the kitchen! “Overall stay was great failed to mention there is no heat in main part of the house only in the bedrooms the sulfur in the water is really bad I turned the water on in the bathroom and could smell it throughout the entire house I felt like i was walking around smelling like a rotten egg from the sulfur smell of the water they did however provide bottled water for drinking and cooking and considering everything is far from property I feel ice trays would be great to have there as well ”

“Owners thought of every detail, even providing coffee, paper products (minus tissues), firewood and firestarter sticks. They came by and checked on us, were not intrusive at all. Very helpful, friendly and concerned that everything was ok, and suggested hiking trails nearby. Definitely recommend a stay here if you are looking for a relaxing time, beautiful sunsets and stunning mountain views.”
