Grounds are very nice and there’s a gentle climb down to the river, a beautiful spot on the patio to sit out for a drink or morning coffee — and the breakfast was excellent as well (I had to go for the Ulster Fry (similar to the Full English) both mornings. “Main standout quality of this hotel is it’s location. Beautiful views of The Mournes and very well maintained gardens. Also ample car parking space. If you want a quiet place to escape then this is it. Very attentive staff and excellent food. Only recommendation I would make as we arrived when getting dark, a bit more signage on the roadside to make it easier to locate. Other than that we’ve no complaints. Good parking, near enough (by car) to the Mourne Mountains, Murlough, Tyrella and Ballykinler beaches and Newcastle. About a 45 min drive from Belfast. A great haven for peaceful outdoor pursuits or just getting away from it all. Will happily stay again! ”

L’aspetto negativo e’ il lavandino delle dimensioni di una casa delle bambole con acqua calda e fredda separate. Doccia grande molto funzionale. Assenza bidet, come ovunque da queste parti. La colazione compresa alla carta e’ la ciliegina sulla torta, buonissima con ingredienti di ottima qualita’. Vorrei tornarci. "
