“FOR THOSE WHO THINK THEY CANT SPELL HEART PROPERLY IN DUMFRIES LET ME INFORM YOU HART IS A DEER OR STAG. AND ACTUALLY NOT AN ORGAN IN THE HUMAN BODY OBVIOUSLY LOL. SUSAN THE OWNER TOLD ME AS I FINISHED MY FULL SCOTTISH BREAKFAST HAGGIS INCLUDED LOL. HAD A 1 NIGHT STAY FOR WORK AND COULD NOT COMPLAIN ABOUT ANYTHING REALLY. VERY ATTENTIVE STAFF. CLEAN AND COMFORTABLE. STAROPRAMEN ON TAP (MY FAVOURITE) AND GOOD SELECTION OF WHISKEY. LOTS OF TAKE AWAY RESTAURANTS AND PUBS CLOSE BY.”

“We had a great stay at Hamilton House – very friendly owners, spotlessly clean property, large comfortable rooms and a great breakfast. Really useful having the car park at the back for our motorcycles, out of sight and under cameras. 15 minute walk in to town. Dumfries is a great base for exploring the area, highly recommended, we will be back!”
